I like Grievous, though I probably say that mostly for the truckload of interesting parts he comes with. Obi Wan looks also cool though, and I appreciate they went with a style similiar to the animated series, as that would lend itself fairly well to a head for a constraction figure.

Griev and Vader are right now on my top list. I'm also more curious about the remaining 2 now!

Lego just posted a 360 video of Grievous:

He looks ways better.

gosh, he sure does. And now looks closer to it's prize point too. Retreating with my opinion. I want this.

Why do promo images always have the absolute worst poses? Grevious looks great now. Gah, now I have to find a way to fit an extra 35 bucks into my Bionicle budget...

I don't understand all the hype for these. It might be pretty cool if someone made huge vehicles for these guys, though. Can you imagine a Han Solo constraction with a full scale falcon for him? That would be amazing.

These aren't much more than weird-looking action figures, though. I don't see any value to the parts outside of the sets, but I'm sure some creative person will prove me wrong.

You do know which subforum you're in right now, right?

it's not that great idea to create A Milenium Falcon size of a table either and try to sell it.

He could probably stand to do with a few extra armor bits, but it's an amazing likeness. Definitely hyped for the Greiv.

Still better than the Star Wars Transformers.

The 360 video does make Grevious look pretty good, his chest plate is ridiculously small though.

Kenobi looks great too, far more interesting than Luke and I'm really liking some of these new parts and recolors.

I agree, he looks naked.

Give him the one from Obi-Wan, though it might look very short on him...

I hope Jango uses the same color blue as Gali. So we get more armor pieces in that color.

Yep. Totally sold on Grievous (as if I wasn't already). Seems like some interesting construction going on in the body.

Color me hyped!

No, Jango needs to be sand blue, or at least regular blue, but he would definitely be too bright and flashy in dark azure.

I'm guessing Jango will be azure like Gali, I won't bet on sand blue but I will be pleasantly surprised if he is. That 360 of Grievous makes him look WAAAAY better, so pumped to get him now!

LEGO Gundam 2016 confirmed!

One can only hope

I thought about new Action Figures, and decide: Luke is good, but he have so strange face. Dart Vader is very cool, but with thin body. Obi-Van not bad, and Lego gave him two liightsabers (why?). General Grievous is excellent! He has got thin arms, but it is really good!

P.S. New leg's shells?

After seeing him in 360 degrees, I can agree that he looks a lot better... I'll go as far to say he may be one of the best CCBS sets we've gotten so far, second to Witch Doctor...

I said "someone," not TLG -- at least not as a set. It would be a lot bigger than a table though. It would probably have to be at least twice this big: http://cache.gawkera...1/01/foto_4.jpg

And even in person (my girlfriend works as a model builder at the LEGOLAND CA park, where this photo was taken), the scale on this model with the minilanders feels off. It'd be very, very large, that's for sure.

I think most of us were taking issue with the "looks like action figures with useless parts" bit, the weird echo of the AFOL community's ever-present grumble that TLG has made sets that aren't exclusively bricks and studs all the time, when we've been part of the community with BIONICLE and buildable action figures for fifteen years now.

What is lego becoming... I really don't like this new direction, this isn't lego anymore to me...

Hmm,,. But I think they're cool, imo.

Should they be more squarish? Have studs so it can break easily and be as frustrating as an action figure as the Exo-Force ones? Constraction has been around for over 15 years. I'd guess it's time for you to open your eyes for "what lego has already become".

I'm craving for Jango and Cody, where are they?

LEGO: sets produced by LEGO. End of story.

...You're serious? I think SW has enough vehicles already.

I know right! How dare TLG diversify their product line! How dare they cater to different audiences! How dare they do something other than System!

Christ man, bugger off. If you don't like it, don't ruddy buy it.
