Yeah, the video makes grievous look better, nice having the back armour even though it doesnt help the front coverage much. I feel he'll either look better when his arms are joined or just completely weird... Though definitely getting him for the pieces and legs

They said 12 PM PST... so in two minutes the soonest.

Will this include the remaining 2 Ultra Builds... i hope so... :3

Once again, your expectations are unreasonably high.

I dont think people expecting non-gappy Torso's had too high expectations, after all every other CCBS Star Wars set revealed so far had full coverage of the torso. Pretty sure it could have been fixed, i mean they added about $5 to the price for only adding 20 more parts than vader and most of those are bone pieces. Regardless, with a bit of modding i think it could be fixed fairly easily, just a matter of covering it up

You can certainly tell who does and doesn't like constraction, huh.

I feel a bit in the dark here...when are Cody and Jango (and possibly some TFA sets) supposed to be revealed? Today, tomorrow or Sunday?

Sometime between now and the 19th for Cody and Jango, though not sure the specific date.

Ok. I'm listening to the livestream from Celebration right now, it sounds like TLG is going to show something today around or after 3:30 PST. Not sure what or exactly when though so I'll just be patient. :)

From the pic, the gaps can probably be fixed via just using shorter connectors at the top and bottom. Though then you'd have to find an alternative method of doing the top body armour.

Using this picture and the 360 shot. Can anyone reverse engineer Grevious' build?

I'm currently trying, on LDD.

EDIT : Dayum, I love Cody !

I really like how he pulls off the 'simplistic build' better than Skywalker does. Though, I can people mainly getting him for those orange armor add-ons.

Good god I need Commander Cody. CCBS is great for the Clone Troopers. Hoping Jango looks as awesome as him.

So far, it's Vader = Grievous > Cody > Obi > Luke. Really disappointed with Luke.

Less orange than what I hoped for, but still a good, full armoured figure- they're really putting a lot of effort in these. At least we finally get an orange add-on piece. And he has the new dark bley forelimb bones like Vader and Obi-Wan!

Also, these guys are all pretty tall. Cody and Luke are as tall as Tahu and have almost the same number of pieces. For Star Wars sets, they're not that overpriced- as far as USA goes, at least. I still fear European buyers are in for a bad price hike.

EDIT: And yeah, forgot about Grievous, I couldn't access the video on the phone (not sure if it's normal or not). Nice back armour and very good leg design. Looks like I really have to get him- like Vader, both for the parts and the build itself (which I already found a use for).

Grievous does look much better in that video, if only he came with a cape... By the way, Cody's pic isn't there (neither is the tweet), does anyone have another link?

Yeah, they just re-posted the tweet. Here it is.

Oh man. Cody does look nice. Shame about the emptiness on the back of the legs, though.

But I think the main highlight for me is the new shoulder armor. Loving the simplistic beauty of that piece.

Cody seems a bit lacking compared to Obi Wan. While yes he does have a backpack. He's lacking coverage on his back legs like Luke and Obi Wan. They probably had to cause of the higher piece count of his blaster.

Seeing how little orange Cody has. I fear that Jango will be mostly silver. http://bbs.bbicn.com/attachments/month_1008/20100824_a146e5fd986571c44f6bOW53awCkhwUP.jpg

On another note. The chest piece used for Luke, Obi Wan and Cody might work well for a front shell piece for TMNT CCBS figures. If only Lego still had the licence

So we have another color of that shoulder armor, and, as far as pieces that interest me go, there's only that white rapier that's used as an antenna. I hope Jango is a little more interesting. Sand blue would be just the best. I love the color and I was really disappointed when LEGO almost abandoned it in sets. Sand blue bones would be a dream come true.

Cody's aight. Digging some of the pieces, but the construction seems pretty simple. I'll save my money.

cool!

Cody might be even better looking than Obi, but offers less interesting pieces like I thought, expect for the orange shoulder's it's not worth to buy. Anyways, judging how good they pulled off Cody while it's still fairly dull I'm hyped for Jango because he must be using a lot of recolors.

Not too sure about the upper torso, though.

Grievous is now an obligatory purchase.

Cody...enh. Not enough orange for me... Maybe he'll grow on me, though.

Cody's a yes for me. More white shells are always a bonus, and the one with the orange stripe, plus the orange shoulders makes this a "purchase twice" kind of thing for me. The set design is neat too, though as with most CCBS sets, I will buy because it's going to get taken apart eventually and added to my parts bins.

jesus christ, why do system folks even come to this subforum...

anyway, i'll be buying up just about all of them for parts, but i'll see if i can sell the human heads on BL, if not, to the trash they goooo

Are those 4M shells on his arms and 6M shells on his legs? Would be a first for those parts in white.
