It'll take a bit, since I'm building them on camera, but here is Luke.

Some proportions problems, but all in all, better than I expected, the saber hilt piece is more or less a variant of this piece while the laser is made in flexible plastic.

I want to like him, but all I see is a Ken Doll in black armor wielding a lightsaber.

I'm sure they are saving a rebel pilot for later, but man I wish they had gone with that headsculpt instead of that.

I suppose they've been using this outfit because Vader is in the same wave, to replicate the battle between the two, though I agree his rebel pilot suit would have been awesome. Cody is pretty good, better proportions, but I sure wish they had included a weapon storage on his backpack.

Oh and the new shoulderpad is pretty cool, didn't test the compatibility yet, but it looks ace !

Nice, any adds for the Episode 7 sets in the instructions?

They both look really good. Idk if they're 20$ good.

I'm betting on Poe Dameron.

I'll definitely get Cody, he looks great (and that box art is nice).

One question, do the back of the boxes (or the instructions) show any combiner model ?

Sadly, no ad or combiner models on the boxes/instructions. Here is Jango, and I feel like he's the least good of the three. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it, but it just doesn't have anything making him particular apart from a good selection of pieces.

Please excuse the quality of this picture, it suddenly got dark with a small storm here.

Actually, that's a relief, I'm sure combiner models would have been awful.

Is that a new shade of silver?

Luke actually looks better than what I imagined first but not by much.

Cody looks just as good as I though, it's just a shame the other leg shell has printing.

Jango doesn't look anythign spectacular and has those prints everywhere. Just ugh.

I don't know if you noticed but I said at the end of the last page that If you still have Gali intact I would like to see how Jango's kneeguards fit on her to give an idea how next years sets could use these pieces.

Shaddow, do you think that Luke is good?

Cody is probably my favorite of the 15 dollar bunch, with Luke being a somewhat close second. I think most of us can agree that Jango is the black sheep of the wave :cry_sad:

Agreed. I think that Jango is my least favorite of the small sets.

Don't say that, you know you like Clone Commander Luke !

Is that a new shade of silver?

I pretty sure it's not but I feel like silver isn't all that consistent anyway, within the same silver color, so I might be wrong.

I've seen you ask here and somewhere else, but I need to dig Gali out, first, so I'll take pictures in a moment.

Shaddow, do you think that Luke is good?

I think he's better than I expected, but out of the box without modifications, I feel like it's the weakest of the three, and most likely of the wave. The proportions of the arms and legs are just wrong. With that said, it's nothing that can't be tweaked a bit.

Well, I wasn't expecting these to be put out on the shelves early (thought they'd have the same embargos that the TFA stuff being released in September would also have - I mean, we don't even have any GBP prices for these yet!). I might just have to go investigate my own local TRU to see if UK TRU's have followed their French counterparts. Also, very peculiar that they only seem to have the three cheapest sets on the shelves - I wonder where Obi, Vader and Grievous are?

I want to like him, but all I see is a Ken Doll in black armor wielding a lightsaber.

I can't unsee that now. Every time I see Luke now I'm going to think of "Bionicle Barbie". And I don't even like Barbie

Could you show Gali wearing those silver kneeguards?

There you go, not a fan of it, since I feel the shapes aren't as good as the ones provided with the original look of the set.

The 'smoothness' of the shin armor flows well with the set, but something feels off about it. Maybe it's the clown feet.

Hmm, it doesn't look as good as I thought, certainly larger than I thought it would. I guess it could help if the lower and upper legs would be one stud longer which would just make the proportions goofier. I dunno, guess we have to wait and see but it sure will not be done like this.

The proportions seem to be the main problem here. Her thighs are too short in comparison to the knee-armor.

Could you take a picture of her with the armor but without the pointy-add-ons?

The thing is, there is no pointy add-ons, it's one single piece.

Two weeks early, eh? Not so bad I guess. Definitely some cool looking figures, but I'm waiting to see the big guys myself.

Wouldn't you like to see Darth Grievous?

Luke Grievous would be far more entertaining (and horrifying) IMO
