kevkipo Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I'm excited for open world again, but I wouldn't expect the NY hub to be exactly the same this time around. Probably similar but I could see them redesigning parts of the city. I hope for a Sokovia Hub as well, probably unlikely Quote
Quicksilver Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I hope for a Sokovia Hub as well, probably unlikely Hmm... Maybe have a Quinjet Landing Pad to take you to the other hubs, the Church and The Hydra Fortress and make a Small hub. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Hmm... Maybe have a Quinjet Landing Pad to take you to the other hubs, the Church and The Hydra Fortress and make a Small hub. That would be cool. After all AoU was a global movie, filming everywhere. Joss Whedon put a strong emphasis on that and the director of this game at E3 keeps mentioning Johanesburg. I'm sure they would make that area explorable after completing the mission in it. So perhaps they will take cues from Beyond Gotham, having little hubs (like LB3 had planets) and still have a massive open world NYC, which is the main focus. Quote

That would be awesome if we had a Johannesburg Hub, but it was In Avengers Age Of Ultron for 20 minutes and for half of that the team was on a boat. So if it is in the game it would be rather small. kevkipo Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I think the levels will be, 1. Loki's escape 2. Recruting 3. Iron man and Cap vs Thor 4. Hulk vs Thor 5. The battle of NY begins 6. The battle of NY ends 7. Avengers vs Hydra (one of my favourite sequenses) 8. Party at stark tower 9. Battle at the shipwreck yard / Hulkbuster battle 10. Hawkeye's farm 11. Seoul chase / train 12. Sokovia final battle 12 levels then Quote
Ultron Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 12 isn't awful, although it's not very many. Any chances we could get GotG levels or even comic inspired levels? Quote

Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 He said that there would be more than just the two Avengers movies, but those are the big focus. Perhaps a level for each other movie? Or maybe just some interstitial levels for the fun of it? What's got me really curious is that they aren't sticking to the MCU entirely. Of course, that just makes this game sound like "Lego Marvel 2: We Told the Fantastic Four and X-Men to Stay Home This Week", but I wonder what kind of characters we'll see. Perhaps Ms. Marvel and Ghost Rider, or maybe just upcoming MCU characters in their comic designs like Captain Marvel and the Inhumans? Will we being seeing the Netflix heroes at least in part in their MCU outfits? Are we going to see Spider-Man in here, and will he be in his classic or MCU costume? What about all of the guys from the animated shows like Avengers Assemble and Agents of SMASH? What about the Agents of SHIELD and Peggy Carter? How long is it going to take before I have to set the Lego Avengers Twitter page to send me notifications? Is 100 set in stone or could we make enough noise for some guys to get them in the game? Will upcoming MCU characters be available as DLC as they happen, or will they just do Lego Avengers Infinity War? Will I stop writing so many questions??? Quote
kevkipo Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 12 isn't awful, although it's not very many. Any chances we could get GotG levels or even comic inspired levels? Well, Arthur said: "And more" so i do think so or will they just do Lego Avengers Infinity War? Will I stop writing so many questions??? I am 99,9% sure they will, i'd love to see a sneaky little hint at Civil War figs in this I'd also love to see a Lego lockjaw and Crystal or Karnak and Gorgon in this game Quote

Bonus Levels will be story mode for Ant-Man and will be unlocked after you finish all main levels: Avengers 1, Phase 2, and Age of Ultron. Quote

Also, off topic, but if Lego makes Inhuman figures I'm first in line of Lockjaw. I feel like the way they will portray him will make him as popular amongst movie goers as Rocket Raccoon. and Groot. (Anyway, carry on) Quote

Yeah i've heard... so strange they would do it like that? doesn't sound right, would be hard to follow for those who haven't watched the movies Quote
Master_Data Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Yeah i've heard... so strange they would do it like that? doesn't sound right, would be hard to follow for those who haven't watched the movies Nah, makes sense. They're focusing on the story of Loki's staff. Starts by Hydra, gets used to unleash the Chitauri, all the way to its uses in AoU. Seems quite logical if you look at it that way. Quote

For the purposes of the game, however, they are moving things around. Watch the gameplay video with Arthur Parsons - his commentary clarifies everything. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Yeah, HYDRA is the first level then they skip around. Its cool a little change up. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 I think after beating the main two Avengers movie chapter things, perhaps you unlock a level from the Winter Soldier and/or a level from IM3 and so on. (I think GoTG would make a great level too!) Quote
Savage Oppress Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 (edited) well the game doesn't come out till Winter 2015, they have plenty of time to change the level design before the game discs get printed. the final game probably has 5 levels for each Avengers movie, and 5 levels each for every Phase 1 and Phase 2 movie. To fit all of the data, they can easily make the final game have 2-4 discs for last gen ( Xbox 360 and PS3) 1 disc for current gen (Wii U, Xbox One, and PS4), and 2-3 discs for PC. Legocity2713 Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Tony Stark HUB confirmed! and those Quicksilver combo's are a new kind of epic! Oooohh, sick. Can't wait! Also, looks like there are 2 Falcons. Comic and MCU. The comic one looks like the SDCC one too. Hmm. Also, we saw a printed piece on the back of the Silver Centurion. So 2 Printed pieces and an all new figure for a pre-order bonus. Pretty awesome. Quote
