George had all the scripts done, I think, I'm not sure. But anyway, George did have in mind that the Leia and Luke were going to be twins since the second or third draft of the first movie.

Sorry to say, not according to George.

1. The ages for Luke and Leia are different in the final script.

2. George writes the scripts just before the movies. He has always done this and in the behind the scenes of one Episode 1 (I think) he seems quite proud of the fact. Besides, for Empire he only did the second draft, not the first and last ones.

You really are a Star Wars b!tch :-D :-D :-D

and even with such material, PJ still managed to mess a few things up because he didn't like them in the book, but still...

I spent the whole series waiting for the "I am not Saruman the White, I am Saruman of Many Colours!" but he skipped it. :'-( I loved the first movie, but the 2nd and 3rd prioritised big (avergage looking) CG battles over dialog and it suffered for it.

But I still think he could have had a bit more respect for what he authorised, instead of just ruining a huge part of the EU...

My point exactly.

but whan you come to think of it, it'll only annoy those of us who actually go into EU material; those who love the films but have only seen that part of SW won't have that much to complain, nothing really conters something else...

I'm not sure. Some of my knowledge on Star Wars is biased from reading the books too much. Sometimes I have looked or waited for a scene only to find it isn't in the movie! :-$ However, I think you are right. There are some substantial "that's weird" parts (like how most of the universe seems to have forgotten Jedis even though it was only 20 years ago), but no "that is wrong and no amount of creative thinking will change that fact" that I can think of off hand. (Someone please prove me wrong!)

(by the way, have you noticed how unlucky Christopher Lee is? In both saga, he dies uselessly at the beginning of the third film... :-P )

He is an incredible actor. He was extreamly grumpy with how he was removed from the cinema cut of ROTK. It is a shame he has been sidelined for so long even though if you look at his work history it shows he has never been bored...

I suppose I am. I feel bad now. :'-( I think I need a spanking.

Oh... my... gods... X-O

Anyway, you're all looking at this the wrong way:

Leia knew that Bail wasn't her real father because she went back in time using R2-D2 to attempt to assisnate the emporer when he was still the chancelor. However, she over shot it, and ended up in 17th century Port Royal, where she helped Jack Sparrow escape the awsome, and totally cool Commodore Norrington. Jack owed her a life debt, and he helped her fight Darth Vader in the alternate dimensions. In the fight, Leia was able to disengage Zarkoon's Property of Thrust, and was able to jump to giga-space. This ended up returning her to the regular dimension. She found a clone of Darth Vader (who shared the regular Vader's conscience) drunk in a gutter, and he cleaned him and fed him. He revealed that he was her father. Jack Sparrow eventully was so shocked by the future that he went insane. A clone of him was placed in the past just between PotC1 and PotC2.

Gods you guys, I thought everyone knew that :-|

As Star Wars is set a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, 17th Century Port Royal is in Leia's future...

:-| yourself.

I can see your argument with 1. 2 also, in a way. I would bet it would be easier to write sequels. You have a story. You have your base, you can go ahead and build on top. George struggled to create the story he wanted for pretty much three years for the first film. But since he made the first one, he could make the others easier.

It's also hard to write something then go back and find how this is supposed to go. Like building a lego set, you've missed a step and it's gone wrong, you have to go back and try to connect back there.

Errr, this might not make much sense X-D . Though, I was a little confused in what you said about 2. "for Empire, he only did the second draft, not the first and last ones."

Hinkley, X-O ..... :-P

I have more.

1. Wookie Attack is a misnomer because the wookies are defending

2. the instructions for new at-st has pictures of humans in the background.

3. Catalogs have a battle droid pilot in the slug in wookie attack even though there are 2 outside already. This is fixed in the box and instructions.

4. The instructions for wookie attack tell you to put a dark gray spire thing for the spider droid but the catalog is missing it and on the box and instructions it is black

5. The summer catalog of this year, on the naboo fighter, where it shows that R2 could drop out, the ship is cut off before the circle ends.

What I meant was George didn't write the first script for Emprie Strikes Back. Leigh Brackett wrote it based on notes from George, after Leigh Brackett died George worked on it, but it was finished by Lawrence Kasdan. My point being that the scripts were not pre-written, and were written as needed.

I have more.

...and you will find lots. The Exo-Force moblie defence tank has a long axel linking the left/right suspension, but the finished version was much different. Often sets are changed due to avaliable parts.

Yes, and supernova had smooth leg thigh yellow thing on the box but the real one had holes. Similar thing happened to the beak of Penguin's submarine, and the landing pad.

He didn't struggle for three years, he said he's been telling the story to his kids all of his life and the whole saga was his life dream. He only started with Episode 4 because it was the most marketable movie.

Precisely, but I take the time and effort to make sure a set is built correctly before I put it on a display shelf. :-P

Are you referring to the walrus spanking? Yeah, I know. It's pretty great... :-P

You know the movie was originally about Luke Starkiller, a space potato farmer, right? :-| Brilliant, George. He changed it to what it is now when he realized that nobody cared about space potato farmers

Yes, I did know that. I wish George would move on from the whole farming thing, especially the moisture farmers; what a silly idea that is.

I guess you've seen that mock youtube video about how Lucas really came up with Star Wars?
