mrcp6d Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 The series: Mitgardia: Mitgardian Army Archer – Crossbowmen are the standard archer component of the Mitgardian Army. Mitgardian archers might lack the finness of the Avalonian elves, but their bolts hit hard, just like a Mitgaridan blizzard. Unknown Ice Mage – Legends are rife with anecdotes of ghostly demons in the Frozen Beyond, could this be one of them? Mead Hall Barmaid – She may always be smiling, but if you mess with her, her customers, or her mead hall, she’ll pick you up and throw you out in the cold! Avalonia: The Green Knight – Always happy to save a damsel in distress, this knight trusts his shield, armor, and sword to deal with everything that comes his way, though he’s learning there is no defense for angry damsels. Druid Witch – With an affinity for nature, she roams the countryside looking for interesting alchemy ingredients. Sometimes her potions even work! Farmer – Typical of farmers in the fertile regions of Avalonia, he takes his fresh wares to market almost every day. Kaliphlin: Skullcrusher the Lion – One of the most experienced of the Kaliphlinite Army regulars, Skullcrusher relishes crushing skulls with his heavy mace and can’t wait to take the fight to the Black Spire. Pharaoh’s Mystic – When the Pharaohs of the Mountain Mummies need someone horribly cursed, they send the Mystic to do the deed. While his origins are unknown, his expertise with venomous creatures and ancient magic makes him a formidable foe both in the shadows and on the battlefield. Black Oil Salesman – Don’t confuse him with a snake oil salesman! This experienced negotiator is a respectable merchant that does his part to illuminate the dark corners of Historica. Nocturnus: Black Spire Headsman – Sometimes heads just must roll. In fact, supplying the annual Empty Skull Bowling Contest provides much of the headsman’s yearly income. If you like your head connected to your body, it’s usually best to avoid the Spire! Drow Sorcerer – A true master of black magic, this Drow mage is known for turning his victims inside out. It’s fairly gruesome, and frankly, nobody wants to see it (especially the janitorial staff!); so, just stay out of his way. Fisherman – Noctunian waters are surprisingly well stocked with edible animals—depending on your definition of “edible”! A staple protein product around Abyssian, the Orange-Shelled Water Spider is sourced with frequency from the Moruth Swamplands by skilled fishermen. Others: Varlyrion Harbor Guard – Significantly less full of themselves than the Garra, the Harbor Guard ensures no pirates take up residence in Varlyrio, tariffs are paid, brawls result in minimal property damage, and the proper amount is skimmed off the top… Varlyrion Noblewoman – She spends most of her time like many of the richer Varlyrions, drinking fine wine and eating fine foods while attempting to advance her courtly position. King’s Guard – A proud group of warriors, the crimson and bright silver of the King’s men once symbolized the might of the throne. Even with civil wars wracking the four Guilds, the Guard has not given up hope that the King will return. They still defend the palace with their lives and their giant axes. Cedrica Silversmith – This dwarf is known far and wide as the best silversmith in all of Historica. He can craft any jewelry, but he most enjoys working with locks and keys. This was way fun! Thanks Ecc for the great contest! I tried to keep the piece counts realistic for these, though the Headsman and King's Guard got a little crazy with the axes. Quote
