The Joker1 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Hey guys, Now that we have 3 years and many many waves of superheroes sets available to us i was wondering how people went about displaying them, personally i have separate little zones for Iron man, Bat-vehicles, Justice league characters, GOTG and my Arkham display, But us for all the oddities and randoms that the SH line gives us i have put them all into one big Town display, How do you guys display all the bits and pieces you have? Im a brickmaster. Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Gosh, I wish I DID have a set up like this. I really should given all the Batman/ Marvel stuff I have. Ill get to it someday! Quote
legofanatic12 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Cool, but why I even saw some Star Wars minifigs there? Quote
The Joker1 Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 Haha cheers guys, I started mine with just the fire modular and somehow its grown recently very suddenly , I go a bit crazy with this layout and incorporate whatever comes to hand, I have a bit of SW, a POTC fight, Some CMs enjoying a meal an even some chima dotted around, Lots of little easter eggs in there . Jared Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Cool! I don't display because once I build something I have to take it apart for the next thing! ;D Quote
Krikkit Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 This is awesome, but too chaotic for me! I love the Manbat wing mod though. Quote
Vindicare Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I have some scattered about my tabletown. Iron Patriot, the Ultimate Spider-Man team & Doctor Doom are the ones roaming around. The LEGO Movie is the non City theme main attraction right now. Once I get the next round of sets, I may do an Avengers/Justice League set up. Quote
The Joker1 Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 Cheers guys, I dont think i would ever trade the heart of my city for anything but SH, but rather work around them , As for taking displays apart, The horror hardest part of the job. I always enjoyed a little chaos in my builds, I feel it gives the hustle an bustle of a real city but seeing some peoples super neat displays sometimes makes me want to change it . Quote
HayHay Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) This is great. It seems real chaotic superhero towm. These are how I display superhero town and play with my children: Superhero Town by Hay Core, on Flickr Edited February 3, 2015 by HayHay Quote
The Joker1 Posted February 3, 2015 Author Posted February 3, 2015 Nice work mate, thats a sweet looking town, A lot neater than mine , Love the use of custom buildings too, If i got hold of your town it wouldnt stay that neat for long . Quote
Gerechtigkeitsliga Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Its not easy to display all Sets. I have only one Showcase in my home for Sets. There i show my newest an all figures i have. Older Sets i dispose packed in my basement. Quote
sander1992 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Nice buildings, Hayhay. It is not easy to display all the sets. I was an exhibitor at Legoworld 2013. In that year I had City and Super Heroes with me. The old Batman and Spider-man sets were also included. I needed 7 meters for my layout and it was not enough back then. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=536513 Quote
