P3_Super_Bee Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Didn't see any topics on this set. Just had to do one mod... To me a Volkwagon T1 Screams spare tire on the front.... Quote
TheLegGodt Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 It's an interesting variation, looks well done. For me I prefer the original set so you can see the line through. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 A nice mod, though I don't get why it's in Licensed. Quote
P3_Super_Bee Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) A nice mod, though I don't get why it's in Licensed. I'm new here. So where would you display pictures of a licenced set mod'ed or otherwise? Edited February 4, 2015 by P3_Super_Bee Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Oh, no worries - the placement of Licensed stuff around the forums is kind of a mess anyway, with lots of arbitrary exceptions and whatnot. That said, LEGO Licensed is generally used for entertainment licenses - narrative, character-based stuff (movies, TV, comics, video games, etc.). Brand licenses - corporate names, products and services, etc. - are indeed licenses as well, but they're of a different nature from those others, and usually they're posted elsewhere - typically either LEGO Town or Special LEGO Themes, though they can also fit elsewhere (discussion of the Maersk Train going in the LEGO Train Tech forum, for example). :) Quote

Dazmundo Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Noooo! Bay window campers have wheels on the front, but you can't spoil the lines of a splitty with a spare wheel, its just wrong! :-) Nicely done job though ;-) D Quote
