...maybe is you!!! LOL

you wish..... errrr.. wait, perhaps I wish (given the 200 red #3 connectors)

Where do you see orange on the Arcos?

Well... I guess I might have been wrong! When I initially looked it looked like they were under the pneumatic switches under the red tiles. Upon closer examination across many different photos and videos I am now unsure. The lighting changes and makes it quite difficult to determine red vs orange....though it looks different from the tiles which are red in plenty of the shots.

Pretty sure there's no orange in the Arocs, it all seems to be red. Shame though, seems like orange 1 x 9 beams will remain very expensive.

I am an idiot. I realize the the Super Street Sensation set has a couple of the #3 red connectors (which originally prompted the post) and lots of flex axles. Both of which are incredibly rare and expensive but both in abundance on the SSS. Which I have :sweet:

Typically I hate to steal stuff from other collectors' items that i have, but in this case I will make an exception.

If you're tearing down your 8448, I'll gladly buy a couple of pieces off of you ... lol

The kids have been playing with mine and lost one of the long grey ribbed hoses, that serve as styling for the two doors.

in 2011 we had 2 sets with #3 red connectors, 8070 and 8068. Cm'on 2011 it's just 3 years ago.....we should have plenty of them on BL....... :cry_happy: :cry_happy: :cry_happy: :cry_happy: :cry_happy: :cry_happy: :cry_happy:

we should, but we don't ... thanks to the plethora of Red MOCs and Sergio Marchione.

I honestly thought everyone in the Technic community knew that #3 red connectors were rare.

Last month I got 18kg of mixed technic parts - there I found four #3 red connectors  ...and some more very rare parts.

Greetings

Alex

Just buy 8070 or 8448 second-handed and stop worrying

I got 2 x 8448 for a good deal and that helped me bring my total to 65 #3 red connectors so I think I have enough now and wont buy any more losse , cause I want others to also be able to get this part for their mocs.

I just ended up with so many because I wanted to make Sheepos Mustang in red (my fav colour) .

I also got 2 8448's because I love the set .

I'm really not sure the point of this conversation... since the topic of #3 red connectors came up I decided to log into Bricklink... there at the top of the list was a USA seller with 14 used #3 red connectors for $0.68 each. I have bought from this seller a few times and so I now have 14 extra #3 red connectors.

The part is more rare (and expensive) in Europe, I guess. More Technic fanatics here.

Either way, people just want this part for Sheepo's Mustang. There are a lot of parts that are even more rare and/or expensive, like PP wheels.
