The image I got is only half of the catalog page so there's probably more. Someone on 4chan mentioned 'Doctor who lego 4 sets' but I wouldn't wish for 4 sets. Only the one.

Doctor is different from Dimensions - looks more purple with dark blue shirt and a small pocket watch.

From what I see right now, this is not worth $60.

Any LEGO Doctor Who set is worth any amount of money IMO. Would happily pay £38.62 (as is the currency I use) for any LEGO Doctor Who set.

Maybe the Doctor is in Matt Smith's costume, because he's just regenerated? That sounds more like an 11 outfit than a Capaldi one.

I've been on other forums where neither of what you mention is a problem. In fact, the former is generally encouraged usually to reduce spoilers.

That's cool that we seem to be getting a regeneration set in essence but its a pity Capaldi's regular look is not included, that pretty much forces fans to buy the dimensions level pack to get the regular doctor, whether they have/want dimensions or not. I mean that's Ok for people with consoles but for a lot of people £30 for one 12th Doctor figure, the main, most iconic variant of the character is a lot of money if they don't have a console let alone the starter pack, like myself. Then again I suppose if there are more sets we might get another variant of 12 in another set. Then again that is cool cause 12 wore smith's costume (sans bowtie) for part of "Deep Breath" also, until he collapsed on the bank of the thames.

If you want a regular Doctor, I have no doubt that there'll be someone on Ebay selling the Dimensions figure on its own.

I fully expect that too, but is it just me, or does anyone else find it odd that people will literally spend $30/40 for a set like the Dr Who Dimensions set, and then put the minifigs on eBay starting at $5? do they hope that the bidding frenzy will tip it over the point where you make profit?

same thing with the larger sets, why spend $80/90 on a large set, then put the minifigs on eBay for a handful of dollars and be left with a bunch of bricks??

to me it's just stupid

There's people who sell the LEGO Simpsons minifigures a day after release for £4.50 on there too. They make out they're rare; I know for a fact they're not because if you get the right bag, you can walk away with a LEGO Comic Book Guy from WH Smiths for only £2.40.

If I were selling any LEGO minifigures on Ebay, I would do it as a buy it now for around £1.00 - £1.50. I think that's a fair enough price.

(Wouldn't sell any LEGO minifigures on Ebay anyway, unless it was a duplicate from the Simpsons series).

Probably in the morning, so it's too late now. Probably will be a reveal at brickcon or NYCC or maybe week of series finale is current speculation. Careful about asking or you may get banned from eurobricks because our new moderator overlord forbids talking about this for some weird reason.

It seems the time may have passed but you never know, it could get revealed right before the premiere. It's a long shot but I can hope, right?

If TLG will release all the Doctors it will be more exciting if we also get all the companions!

In terms of story points for the current series, Rose Tyler and Martha Jones are important companions. I've yet to watch through season eight, though, and will have to wait for season nine to be released on Netflix.

A UCS Tardis sounds very plausible, only yesterday we heard the news Ghostbusters would be getting it's own UCS set, so maybe in the foreseeable future, we may get one.
