Just found something quite interesting on this article from Metro about Lego Dimensions:

We may get a mini styled TARDIS like the BTTF time machine to go with the game.

If they were to do a Video Game, they could do it Harry Potter Style, Series 1-4 in one game and then Series 5-8 in another.

It's already going to be in the top 5 of the year. If Who and Marvel were added, it'd probably be number 1.

Doctor Who being in Dimensions might explain the possibility of a new mold in the Ideas set, come to think of it. Marty's hoverboard shows that they can make new molds for the Dimensions sets.

So! A new series of Torchwood was announced today. If this becomes a full theme, do you think a set with the Torchwood hub would be likely? Or would a "Children of Time" set with Jack, Gwen and Ianto be more likely. Personally, although I'd prefer the first, I think that the second is much more likely.

Where was it announced? I couldn't find anything related to it in Google.

Besides, Torchwood has never been a show for kids, or even teens. It's way too dark and gruesome for LEGO.

Not a TV show as such, a series of audio plays by Big Finish Productions. It just got me thinking, especially as the TW hub was in the series 4 finale.

Maybe, whilst I do enjoy audio plays I think Lego would want to focus the majority of their sets on the TV Show, If The project becomes a theme like Minecraft (which I'm sure it will) they may do the Battle of Canary Wharf.

This theme, more than any but Star Wars, would need battle packs. I envision

1-The Dalek/Auton invasion (3 Autons, 4-6 Daleks).

2-Cybermen of Time (3 NuWho cybermen, 2 classic who, 2 cybermats).

3-Don't Blink (4 weeping angels, 1 baby angel)

4-From ground to Space (2 Sontarans, 2 Silurians).

And yes, I know the names are rubbish.

Wait, when?

If you mean the season finale of Miracle Day, that was almost completely in Argentina and Shanghai, and then at the end at a funeral. The hub hasn't returned since being destroyed in Children of Earth.

Regardless, the Torchwood 3 Hub would be fantastic for an uber-expensive sets like the SHIELD Helicarrier, since those are aimed at adult collectors. I doubt they'd make more than that (if at all), though, since Torchwood is most definitely not family-friendly.
