BrickBob Studpants Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 I'd like to point out that CM4Sci has apparently started a countdown: yesterday, his latest post in this thread (#484) said "6", now it's been changed to "5"... You know something, don't you Quote
Tariq j Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Wait, he said there would be a reveal at the start of September! Quote
Cheatster9000x Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Twelfth - ...Not enough stories (as of yet). Despite that, "Mummy on the Orient Express" would make a good set. I can put forward some suggestions :P Robots of Sherwood, Into the Dalek, Deep Breath/Death in Heaven, Last Christmas. I know I'm getting the ideas set asap though. Quote
just2good Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Yeah, I've heard September 1st is the official reveal day. Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) Yeah, I've heard September 1st is the official reveal day. ^^^^^ :classic: Guess there's no point in doin' the countdown anymore, then. Edited August 27, 2015 by CM4Sci Quote
Sir Gareth Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) Yeah, I've heard September 1st is the official reveal day. ^^^^^ :classic: ^^^^^^^ :classic: Edited August 27, 2015 by Sir Gareth Quote
legofreak86 Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 YAY! Can't wait! Makes sense really with Sept being the month series 9 starts. Quote
Steph 104th Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Between Star Wars episode 7 and Doctor Who, its going to be an amazing Christmas Quote
Ordinareo Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) I can't wait for September! Edited August 28, 2015 by Ordinareo Quote
DuckBricks Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) Yeah, I've heard September 1st is the official reveal day. So excited for this! Am I the only one hoping it'll feature other doctors besides Capaldi because we already have a minifig of him in Dimensions? I for one really want the tenth doctor... As for the set itself, it's most likely the TARDIS, but I don't see them releasing another Dalek with it as one is already in Dimensions, as well as K-9. You never know though... I think someone mentioned it before but a wave of collectable minifigures would be great. I would buy an entire box!!! But so many characters though so maybe 2 waves of collectable minifigures lol!!! Hrm... I both really want this and don't want this, because then 12 slots will be filled with each Doctor iteration and only leave two slots for companions... Unless they make 2 series like Simpsons and split the Doctors with 6 in the first series and 6 in the next... I would buy the heck out of that! Edited August 28, 2015 by legozebra Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Hulk_Smash has seen the set Information: it is based on Time of the Doctor, it will contain Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, Clara, two Daleks, a Weeping Angel and is the TARDIS interior with the exterior on the end and able to come off and display as the TARDIS. Also it comes out on December 1st Quote
VTsquatts Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 So I wonder if the exterior is just the front of the TARDIS and we would have to buy 2 sets to create an entire TARDIS?? Quote

CM4Sci Posted August 28, 2015 Author Posted August 28, 2015 Guys! I have confirmation from Comicbook.com that Lego will produce more DW Sets! http://comicbook.com...nd-minifigures/ Here's the link,OMG I'm so excited! Eugh, no. That article is completely wrong. I don't think they did their research, there is no proof there will be more than one DW set. I'm pretty sure they were just referring to the Ideas set. Quote

Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 So I wonder if the exterior is just the front of the TARDIS and we would have to buy 2 sets to create an entire TARDIS?? From what I saw part of the exterior is on the inside but can be taken off to put with the other parts which are also included, (I think, it was a prelim picture so it might not be quite like that) Quote
deskp Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) The same thing happened with Minecraft didn't it? I guess you do have a point there, but I still have high hopes that it will be a success. And if it isn't,then we'll still have the LD packs and the actual set. Quote

I'm pretty sure they were just referring to the Ideas set. They might have been referring to just the Ideas set, but we know for a fact there will also be two sets for LEGO Dimensions, making for a bare minimum of at least three sets. And I do suspect we'll get more. Quote
