DanFraser Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 It's because the physical width of a brick of 1 stud is 7.8, but there is a 0.2mm gap between brisk stacked together. 7.8 x 2 = 15.6 but as that gap and its 15.8. Quote
D3K Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 My understanding of the system (I may be wrong): The base dimension - P - is defined as 8 mm, and that is the distance between two studs/pinholes. The width of a brick (or liftarm, for that matter) is P-0,2 (i.e. 7,8 mm). This is to allow some "breathing space" between pieces, so they don't jam. Quote
