Well, you could say RIP Lego Ninja 2011, but, judging by your profile picture, it turned out ok. :tongue:

I think that this "Futuristic Castles" concept could turn out quite well, as long as they insert some steampunk in there.

    You realize "vehicles" includes such things as ships, chariots, carriages, wagons, etc? Granted, this being a "big bang" theme, it's entirely possible that they'll go for something wilder and more imaginative than in your typical LEGO Castle theme, but the mere confirmation of vehicles is hardly the end of the world. LEGO Elves managed to make its two vehicle sets feel "magical" without pushing them into the realm of science fiction.

    And anyway, a lot of people seem to feel like LEGO Castle has been a bit stagnant lately. Maybe a new twist of some kind is what it needs.

    You're right. :grin: I only wanted a new normal Castle theme. But I won't jump to any conclusions before I see the sets.

    Also, judging from the current list, this new theme has more regular sets for the winter wave than Ninjago does, unless the '1HY' sets are something similar to spinners or speedorz.

    Battle Bugs or Battle Bots too. Who knows what this could be. The PT also might be promotional.

    BB stands for Big Bang, which is a code name Lego uses for major theme launches. In the past, Big Bang themes have been Ninjago and Chima

    I bet PT and HY are faction code names or abbreviations. BB is definitely Big Bang like legozebra said.

    HY is "Half Year" (the names say 1HY so "first half year" is the most logical. Also see below with PT)

    I also recall PT (as well as HY) being used in rumors last year as well, so don't jump the gun! :wink:

    Also, I'll reiterate what I said in the Castle thread:

    For those curious what is meant by "Big Bang." (Apparently) the term has been tossed around internally to describe a release of product backed by a huge media campaign similar to Ninjago's 2011 and Chima's 2013.

    I do think that, if it is officially called "Big Bang," then Lego's casual Big Bang Theory fans are going to be very misled.
