I'm not one to trust strangers, but I don't feel that I'll get far without doing so in this case, and Samuel did recommend... "Pretzel. Honestly, I can't say I found the orders case too compelling then. I had no reason to trust the knowledge gained would not be used for evil, though you did seem decent enough. No longer protectors, just whores and dangerous ones at that. That is your assassin, no?" "And she'll keep an eye on you. One wrong move." "I've already seen her prowess. Red Assassins. Standing next to Gocklo is a strange looking creature wrapped in barbed wire. Gocklo bleeds profusely, and it takes the heroes a few seconds to realize he's down an arm. "Gustav?" Abel takes a few steps forward, but Gocklo giggles and presses a knife into the bearded man's throat. The man gulps. "Not another step, Abel, or the little devil will slight my throat. I've seen him do it enough today." "So sorry to interrupt. Looks like it was just getting good he he he." He glances over at Kiray and Pretzel. "Listen, Nerwen could use your help. She's a while back there. I think I cleared a pretty good path for you if I do say so myself. Just follow the carnage, he he he." A mere whisper in Gustav's ear is enough to turn the man pale and he takes off down a shadowy corridor, yanking the woman wrapped in barbed wire behind him. Quote
