D3K Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Well, it all comes down to what you need the most.. Pneumatics? RC? Small liftarms? Personally I'd go for the 42043, if you can wait till August. Else, the only set that appeals to me of the ones you've listed is 42025 Quote
Erik Leppen Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I'd say, get the oldest one first. The oldest one will go out of production soonest. That will give you more time to get the other ones later. Quote
Rishab N Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I don't think 42039 should be here. It's a good parts pack, but as a model it looks terrible IMO Quote
weavil Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 I'd say, get the oldest one first. The oldest one will go out of production soonest. That will give you more time to get the other ones later. Oldest first, every time. Exactly! However.... After buying 42000, 42029, and 42030 those seem to have enough parts to build almost any thing. Just my opinion. Quote
Alegomind Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I have 42025 set, it is very awesome and complete, moreover you can't see often ariplane as lego model!! If I chose between those these sets I would choose 42043 and 42030! Quote
Jay Psi Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) I'll add my name to the "oldest first" brigade (which would be 42025 in this case), not just for the reasons mentioned but also because outside of special offers, older sets that are still in production usually have larger discounts on them. So if your experience matches mine going for older sets first should work out a bit cheaper in the long run. Edited May 19, 2015 by Jay Psi Quote
Jurss Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Oldest first, then all other :) You can't stop on just one ... Quote

If I chose between those these sets I would choose 42043 and 42030! My only issue is the White panels/parts have limited reuseability....White is not a very common colour in Technic. Oldest first, every time. Agreed. Quote
Jockos Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Do you think white is not a very common colour in Technic? I don't think so.. (2013-2015) There ARE a lot of sets with white, but maybe you are right. Quote
