Dr Axels Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Anyone else think the builds themselves are kinda lackluster? I will admit the ship is nice, but I don't like how its the only build from that set. Seems like a real one-sided fight between the characters Regardless, glad to see we are getting Klaw finally. Okoye and Nakia could really use some leg printing, though. They look so plain with regular black legs. Quote
Falconfan1414 Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Wow I really like both of these sets. There are a lot of positives mainly with the minifigures, the rhino build and the royal talon fighter. Only thing that is disappointing is the lack of a true vibranium element. Quote
benderisgreat Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Rotal Talon Fighters looks very good! And we get Klau with new headprint, hopefully he looks like Andy Serkis it's hard to tell as pics aren't hd. Nakia and Kilmonger both look good. Anyone else surprised that the only minifigure with leg prints in this subtheme is Killmonger with generic cargo pants? And BP himself gets plain black legs? I guess I need to bricklink more Zod's legs. Quote
DrasticPlastic Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Plain legs? Lazy! No interest in these sets. Quote
GoldenNinja3000 Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Plain legs are a bit annoying, but I still have a couple extra Zod legs thankfully. Any suggestions on legs for Golden Jaguar or the glowing Black Panther suit? The unprinted ears are more disappointing than the unprinted legs, honestly. And we have no ear substitute for Killmonger’s suit and the glowing one. Hopefully Black Panther gets printed legs (for once) in the Infinity War set, and printed ears. It would be awesome to give Shuri a new mood for her panther gauntlets, too. I’m hoping the Royal Talon Fighter has more space than just the cockpit, since the interior looked cool in the trailer and I believe the set description mentioned a prison cell for Killmonger. I hope the prison isn’t like the one on the Ultra Stealth Raider, though. I am surprised that they didn’t use a rock piece of any kind for the vibranium. Quote
Captain Nemo Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 I have created the initial Marvel 2018 set thread. Please move all appropriate set discussion over there. This thread will remain open, for speculative discussions. Thanks! Quote

Falconfan1414 Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I think we can add Wong and Bruce Banner to the largest set for this wave based on the trailer Quote

As long as we get a printed circular window piece then it should'nt be too difficult to replicate. Two palace cinema's together for example would give an idea of the basic exterior shape. They are just a celebration of the MCU - hence why Thor has his hammer - and not confirmation of an appearance. Very nice idea mate :) On 28/11/2017 at 12:45 AM, agoodfella77 said: Oh! If I don't happen to follow you, it's highly, highly unlikely I would have gotten to it. We know why the mask looks like that now -- the new International poster shows the mask with the eyes showing, see a snapshot of it here Reveal hidden contents No problem my friend - I'll get in touch on here. :) Quote

It’s been confirmed Spider-Man has minimal screen time, about the same amount as Civil War. That one battle scene is probably his only one. Unless there are two scenes based on that scene, it’s probably that one. Quote

So if he is not included in the basic set description, I don’t think he will be in it. He will probably just be in the largest set Quote

(I haven't seen Doctor Strange) idk why else Spidey would be in there Quote

Maybe Peter gets injured in his fight with Thanos so doctor strange brings him to the sanctum sanctorum to heal, and that's why he's in the largest set Quote
The_Fiery_Rooster Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 After seeing the trailer, it seems the hulkbuster set also takes place in Wakanda. That makes half of the sets about the wakanda battle, while the other three seem to be all separate scenes, with the thanos set being the scene with the orange haze. I'm so ready to see these sets. Bricky Kai Yay Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 I know we're still waiting on pics/confirmed info but when do you guys reckon the Infinity War sets will eventually end up going on sale? Quote

March 1 or earlier, very likely. That’s when we’ve had for sets from Age of Ultron (movie May 1), Captain America: Civil War (movie May 6), and even February 17 for the Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 (movie May 5). They’re either given a release date by Lego for February, or they often leak into shelves early, depending on the store. Quote
