How's a funeral for Peggy not about to include Peggy? I'd love to get her, but I doubt we'd ever get a set of her funeral lol. Side note, since we're confirmed to be getting Agent 13, do you think her hairpiece will be same one Penny has in the big bang theory set? I love that hairpiece. Its so much better than the other generic female one we keep getting

I lol'ed at the idea of Lego making a funeral set. And I mean really lol'ed.

If they did one, it wouldn't be right not to make a commercial promoting it (with 6-year-old children reenacting the last rites and such). It would almost be like something out of a Saturday Night Live sketch.

I would like to speculate about this: someday soon Marvel will get a LEGO playset that is actually substantial. DC has several (Batcave, Arkham Asylum, etc). Marvel's have been lame. The Helicarrier is a little of both but it's more a vehicle than playset and it's also not to scale for minifigs.

I doubt based on prices that CA:CW is when this finally happens but perhaps the summer 2016 wave will have something to offer.

I know! Where are our $120 sets? Avengers tower should've been. Maybe if we ever get another Xmen set it'll be more pricey. They know we want the x mansion so perhaps Disney would be willing to let Lego

Exactly. If Avengers Tower had been twice as elaborate, I would have purchased it. As such, I didn't even need to buy it for the figures because they were repeated in other sets except for Iron Legion, which was cheap enough to Bricklink. I don't even care who is in the set really - I just want a big Marvel set that's to scale with minifigs!

I hope there s some chance to get some sets for Daredevil Netflix verson..in season 2 will be much interested characters i think two sets could be great, Punisher, Daredevil (red costume with helmet) and criminal guy and second Daredevil, Elektra and Bullseye, not very hard to do this, some printed figures, street build and only new helmet for Daredevil but there is possibility to use him in next Netflix sets like Defenders or possible movies...

As for Civil War hope for all characters (Cap, IM, AM, HE, BW, BP, WS, SP, WM, V, SW, F, CB, BZ, A13 :) Helmet for Crossbone and helmet or molded head for Black Panther, for Cap i didn't say it because it is pointless :(

And at least one set for X-Men please two wll be amazng and better but this stupid war betwen Marvel and Fox :(

Apocalypse big figure, Professor X, Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Archangel, Mystique, Jean, Gambit...

I bet there will be a Civil War set featuring Spider-Man, Iron Man and Captain America. It's too obvious for LEGO not to do it, even if Spider-Man's not in any scenes with Iron Man or Captain America (he probably will be and a certain poster hinted he'd do something with Cap A).

He means poster, as in forum member, and he's actually talking about you

He's refering to your post in the 2016 thread about:

Captain America fighting Spider-Man.

I would be wholly unsurprised if Marvel wants no spoilers on Spiderman's role before the film. If he comes out it may probably be in a polybag or the exclusive set that comes out later.

God, am i a stupid guy! :snicker:

But indeed it is true! the scene does take place in the movie... well according to HH wich could be wrong

I think the exclusive would be something like:

-Hawkeye

-Spidey

-War Machine

-Cap

-Tony

Would make a nice exclusive

It'll probably come out after the film's been out a while but I'd be shocked if there isn't one featuring the MCU Spider-Man.

Hmm, I wonder if this will be an annual thing? A TRU polybag with a [nearly] exclusive figure and a tiny model and a sticker sheet. Rocket last year and Hulk this year.

It would make up for DC getting a spot in those Target cubes :P

Could be nice, I guess.

What's the point of the sticker sheets, by the way? Someone said something about the Quinjet, but I didn't understand.

They're just to decorate your sets. The GOTG ones from last year were pretty sweet because they included stickers for Awesome Mix Vol. 1 and 2!

My guess for a CA:CW retailer exclusive is that it would be the same price as the AoU Toys R Us exclusive. $49.99. So we could probably reasonably expect 4-5 minifigs, right? But one of those could very be a goon, henchman or soldier of some type, just the like the AoU and Jurassic World exclusives recently both had.

Weren't all the Jurassic World exclusive figures technically representing specific characters (the kid who fell in the raptor pit, and Omar Sy's character)? And both the dinosaurs had names too.

But point taken. One very well could be generic.

I don't think the "Vet" minifig in that set really looked or dressed like that kid who fell in the pit. I just think with the generic figures, sometimes you just gotta grin and bear it and hope that Marvel continues as an evergreen theme so that you'll eventually get all the named superheroes and villains you really want. But it's scary to think about how many more characters they could do than even Star Wars, so it would take many years to get around to all of them. Sometimes the generic figs are cool though; the new SHIELD agent is a personal favorite.

Hoping that the fourth CA:CW set will be the New Avengers Facility  . ( Highly priced, BIG, landing platform on top of the building for a helicopter or the Quinjet, garage for the Avengers truck and ALL the Avengers )

Well i'm sorry to burst that bubble, but they are never including all Avengers in one set

I don't think a retailer exclusive will be that big either, more like 50$ or something, could be wrong tough

This is a little off-topic, but still related to MARVEL and Lego, but I remember reading somewhere (perhaps on this site, but I can't find it) that DK Books which put out great Lego Encyclopedias for themes like Star Wars, Harry Potter, CMF, Batman/DC, etc... but there was some legal / license issue with MARVEL LEGO and DK which prevents them from releasing a Lego Marvel Encyclopedia?

It's weird because DK does have MARVEL character books... so I just wanted to get a little bit of clarity on this for those who have a better understanding of the issue?

Thanks!

Sounds like F4 might be coming home to Marvel (in exchange for X-Men TV rights)! Anyone else hoping this means we'll finally get Fantastic Four Lego sets?! Or even just get the characters as part of Avengers Assemble sets?!

Also: I know it's all speculation for now, but do you guys think Marvel and Fox working together on X-Men TV shows increase or decrease the chance of new X-Men Lego sets?

It is quite amazing. But Fox has already denied it in the following article which started the whole rumour: http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/fantastic-four/37372/update-fox-denies-fantastic-four-rumours
