JosiahJVL Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 I think we may get a hall of justice set soon Bc of the new justice league comics that reintroduced Martian manhunter and hawkgirl into the league and at the end of dark knights metal we see Bruce show Superman and Wonder Woman blue prints of the hall of justice then we see it in issue one of the new Zach Snyder comics so we may se a set based on that Quote

Digger of Bricks Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Since he's also seen on the front cover of the game, does anyone think that this jacket-less variant of The Joker (pictured below) will perhaps be included in a potential comic-based set for 2019? Quote

I hope not, I'm fed up of the Joker I think he's overrated and overused. Edited June 13, 2018 by J4ck Quote

Lego Batman 3 featured a handful of characters and builds that would be used identically in upcoming sets. I'd be down for this design. Quote
Digger of Bricks Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Just as a little bit of DCEU news to act as some food for thought for this discussion, November 2019's sequel to Wonder Woman has been officially titled Wonder Woman 1984; and, believe it or not, Chris Pine will be returning as Steve Trevor. Here are our first two official images from the film also: Spoiler Quote

It is not confirmed whether Steve Trevor is alive in this film, yeap Chris Pine is returning but there's no indication that he will be playing an alive Steve Trevor, it could be WW hallucinating him or just one of illusions of the upcoming Villain. So there's no official statement yet and actually the director of the film avoid explaining it once stills from the film has been released. It could be Steve's grandson or possibly grand nephew. Given the 70-year time gap. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 So we just got an official look at our SDCC exclusive - a lovely-looking Aquaman set featuring zero exclusive pieces! Could this be the year where SDCC doesn't bring nonexclusive tears?! Quote

In place of a 2019 DC set, perhaps they'll rather showcase the next wave of Mighty Micros? Maybe a 2019 Marvel set? Quote

It seems like DC is really going to push the movie at SDCC, and we also have the classic Aquaman exclusive to tie in with that theme. 2019 Marvel is most likely going to be all MCU-based, which unless we get a Captain Marvel trailer too seems unlikely. That definitely adds up to me, if they decide to reveal anything it'll be that. I heard Marvel Studios is sitting out Comic Con this year and that only the television stuff is making it this year. Hmmm, then perhaps the only 2019 products they'll unveil may be for DC and Marvel's Mighty Micros, if we're to presume that they'll both continue on with those lines. Quote
JosiahJVL Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 So we saw a new Lego dc comics 2019 sets with flash poison ivy and firefly and Batman, is that the only set or will we see other most likely? Quote

JosiahJVL Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I have a few thing to say about Lego 2019 76117, so many people say the ivy mech is really bad but personally I kinda like it and don’t mind it to much. The Batman each is totally AWSOME, I really like how it looks and it looks very adjustable. The Batman figure is same old same old, and poison ivy is the same as the villains game and firefly is great the flash is starting to be overused a little bit now, but I am happy we got dual molded boots, I’d much rather prefer a robin than that flash. OH YEAH I REALLY HOPE THIS ISNT THE ONLY SET we should be getting other figures like Shazam, green lanterns, (all corps), red tornado and atom Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I'm pretty into the set. The Rebirth Batman makes me fear that Lego's really sticking with that design for awhile, but I've still got my New 52 Batsy so I guess it's no harm done. I'm glad to see that Flash is finally getting boots, but it's a little frustrating now that I've already given him the legs from that beach set. That Ivy's gonna be great for scrap - I don't think we've ever gotten that hair in that color outside of that SDCC Phoenix figure. Firefly looks pretty great, although the neck bracket separates his head from his body to a distracting degree in the photos, and I wish they would've given him the little fumigation gun thingies he had in LB3 instead of a stud shooter, but I get it. The Bat-mech looks pretty badass and makes good use of those new Bat-gadget pieces they're introducing this year, but I doubt I'll keep it around for too long. The Ivy "mech" is really neat, though! It's a unique sort of build you could only get in a superhero set, and I really dig that! Maybe next time we get Ivy we could get some giant plant monsters or something, but for a sidebuild, I really dig it! I just wonder what the deal is with that Firefly helmet. The mold is perfect for MCU Wasp, but came out right after. It kinda reminds me of the gold dude from Daft Punk. I just wonder where else they might get use out of that mold. (Probably an Avengers 4 Wasp, but where else.) 14 hours ago, JosiahJVL said: I have a few thing to say about Lego 2019 76117, so many people say the ivy mech is really bad but personally I kinda like it and don’t mind it to much. It really looks like they're trying to tie in to the new game and make use of those new energy/Bat-accessories, so villains with that sort of powerset or cheap prints sound like the safest bet. I'd put my money on the likes of Grundy and Grodd (who play big roles in the game), Deathstroke (who has an even simpler design than before and doesn't reuse the existing one that's never been in a game before), Green Lantern (the only Leaguer who hasn't been redistributed recently and would make use of the energy accessories), Livewire (another use for the energy accessories), and the Crime Syndicate. Maybe an Aquaman rerelease, too, if we don't wind up getting movie-based sets. Quote
Robert8 Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Which characters could use the new legs introduced in the Harry Potter CMFs? One of the Robins, right? At least Dick Grayson but not Tim Drake or Damian Wayne. Flash from the DCU? Quote
