So it sounds like from The Lego Batman Movie side of things we'll be getting the other seven villains: Condiment King, Clock King, Gentleman's Ghost, Hugo Strange, Dr. Phosphorous, Egg Head, and Crazy Quilt.

On the DC side it sounds like a $20 set with Lobo and the SpaceHog and then some assorted figures: Lex Luthor, Krypto, Cheetah, and either Reverse Flash or Bizzaro.

Sounds like a good year for DC, would love some hints if I'm on the right track though.

From what it sounds like in the DC and TLBM threads, I could see us getting a Justice League anniversary party set like I mentioned in a different thread today, with Krypto and the Fortress of Solitude being teased.

Also, does this look like a modified City police K9 dog for TLBM or could this be the potential Krypto for next year?

The Fortress isn't happening, that's what Duncan said. Also, that's not Krypto in that scene, it's Wonder Dog. I don't know how they'd manage to make Krypto look like that, since the capes wouldn't have much of a way to stay on. Maybe something Scooby-Doo like in it's design?

I need Lego Super Friends in my life.

And since everybody here uses pre-existing molds, I don't think it would be much of a challenge to do it! It's not like Lego's shied away from racial stereotypes in the CMF line before, right, Mariachi Guitarist, Poncho Guy, and Nacho Guy?

Or Red Hood.

We've gotten two more Red Hood figures than I ever thought we'd get, I wouldn't hold your breath for a third.

So the LBM lastest promo as well as the essential guide have been teasing some Fortress of Solitude stuff. Wouldn't it be ironic if  we finally got a Fortress set but as part of a Batman subtheme

Or maybe I'm wrong?

Source for the Lego Batman Movie stuff? Duncan mentioned Hugo Strange and Doctor Phosphorus, but I haven't seen anything about the rest of them?

Definitely Reverse Flash. "Some would say I'm the reverse" is a direct quote from Reverse Flash from the tv show. He also said "It makes me want to scream!" in his hint about Hugo Strange, which sounds like Black Canary to me.

Yeah, I don't know any information about the LBM sets themselves only that they're coming. While I'd absolutely love a Fortress set, I don't have any knowledge that there will be one, hopefully that's not the case but I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. As for what I said in the spoiler tags, that was just speculation, I said that before I even had information.

Hopefully that clears this up :classic:

Is there a chance of Zatanna next year or are you unaware of any news relating to her? :D

Again, I don't anything, but judging by the fact that we're getting Lobo's Spacehog as a set, it sounds like we'll be seeing a lot of the characters that Justice League Action has been focusing on, and Zatanna is definitely one of those.

Other characters JLA has been focusing on include Firestorm, Plastic Man, Constantine, Swamp Thing, Felix Faust, and Vixen, which you'd know if you were watching it, which everyone should be!! seriously please watch it it's great but the ratings aren't and it's the best way to get new characters into the hands of kids and therefore into the hands of marketing executives who control the film and television industry as well as toy manufacturing

Like I mentioned in my earlier post below, the Ms. Marvel arms and torso mold could be reutilized for a JLA Plastic Man.

Plastic Man has a prevalent part in the Justice League Action TV show, so perhaps he could be in potential TV show based sets, utilizing the new Ms Marvel stretchy arms and torso mold again. Also, he would be classic, not 52 style.

I hope a Reverse Flash comes with dual molded legs, and that the red and yellow dual molded legs introduced in the Fun at the Beach set get presumably reused for Flash.

A Thomas Wayne Flashpoint Batman in the same set would be icing on the cake also. :classic:

I didn't even realize JLA was already happening. Is it on a cable/satellite network or is it like Netflix or some other online platform?

Oh no, sorry. I was asking @Duncan Young

If they are based of Justice League Action it would be great to finally get a Swamp Thing big fig.

Swamp Thing and John Constantine. Because I feel like JLA is the only way we'd get those figures, due to their Vertigo-dark source material.

It's on Cartoon Network! You could probably find it on their website if you don't have cable, but if nothing else, toys are starting to hit shelves and those sales are what the network seems to care about most.

Constantine might be a little too dark, anyway, but Swamp Thing is easy to pass off as just another weird DC character. He's colorful enough to get away with it, but John "Guy in a Trenchcoat" Constantine doesn't have that same benefit.

I would absolutely love a Constantine minifig. Big fan of the show and movie, though both of those are too mature for Lego. Getting him through JLA would be amazing.

Well played

I recall old days when Tragic Banjo's profile picture was a hint towards an upcoming figure, just wondered if after the Lobo hint, this might have been the next hint. Even if not, he/they're still a good choice of pp

You were saying in the LBM thread that we should be expecting Lex Mech set and firestorm set?

A mini Lex Mech utilizing the new Nexo Knights two part piloting torso would be nice.

I would also hope it would come with a classic style Luthor like in the old Super Friends TV show.
