Graham Gidman Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) My entry to Round 3 of The Tourney 2015 over on MOCpages. My character searches through the slums of Guaire in search of a man who can give him vital information on other teams. Just for fun, who do you think the informant is? Mandate Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Pretty nice MOC you've built there. And yes, people read the tags Quote
Eru Magnus Valar Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Nice MOC! I love diorama's like yours. They really tell a tale. Though I am not sure who the informant is. The guy with frodo's hair, and gimli's grumpy face perhaps?! Or the soulless ginger on the run? Questions! Questions... Really curious how some of those slopes, representing rock boulders, in the wall of the two buildings are attached, I have seen it before in other MOC's, but never attempted it myself. Quote
Balbo Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Fantastic I really love all the techniques you used and all the details! The kitbash minifigures are awesome, too! Good luck for the contest Quote
Kodan Black Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Definitely has a shady slum feel to it. IMO, the informant is one of the dogs. No one suspects them! Quote
Tuben Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Really intresting MOC :) It's lots of things going on there :) Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Good scene, excellent diorama which is well able to convey the atmosphere ... Amazing wall technique too. Very well done! Quote
Durins Bane Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 i kinda like the new dragon knights. they are not the worst. Quote
LittleJohn Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Excellent build, Graham! The dark brown for the houses looks great, as does the angled base Is the informant the guy with gray hair? Quote
MassEditor Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Great creation Grahm, the off-angle techniques really make this some top notch work. I really like the worn stone walls and the crumbling houses. This indeed has a great slum look to it! Now let's get you building for Nocturnus! Quote
