Meatman Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) Red classic is the best for me . As much as red is overused, I actually like red the best Paul, I applaud your efforts making the black model easier to build with more common parts, but I agree with jorgeopesi and Rishab here. Even though it is red, I also think is looks the best. It is flat out gorgeous. I hope you will maybe have alternate instructions of this color like you have done with some of your other models. But the crucial question is how many red #3 connectors are in it? I can see a few of them. Edited March 30, 2015 by Meatman Quote

But the crucial question is how many red #3 connectors are in it? I can see a few of them. I see at least 8 #3 connectors, 2 of those red toggle joints which are becoming uncommon, and a couple short flex axles(If they're 12 L then its not too much of a problem). Just wondering, how did you angle those panels under the spoiler? The ones next to the 11x3 curved panel Quote

Just wondering, how did you angle those panels under the spoiler? The ones next to the 11x3 curved panel There are a total of 12 #3's and 2 14L Red Flexi Axles... The 14L can be substituted with the more common 12L like I did for the black model... Quote
John Daniels Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 All three color schemes are gorgeous, but the red is my favorite. Beautiful work Paul! Quote
Paul Boratko Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 All three color schemes are gorgeous, but the red is my favorite. Beautiful work Paul! Thanks..! Kind of surprised so many people like the red one best, but I guess it does "pop" a little more... Red is easier to photograph and always seems to come out cleaner... Quote
Balrog Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 You don't have some preliminary parts lists ready by any chance? Quote

sm1995 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 All those years of experience designing (awesome) Lego supercars shines through in this model. I love how the design language is minimalist and clean yet sophisticated at the same time. Amazing Quote
Nalyd997 Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Damn I wish the orange bits weren't so expensive, they really complete this model Quote
Meatman Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hi Fans :) I have already my Assassin ready I build for my self after pictures that plublished How did you build that? No instructions just from the pictures? Quote
wagusty Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hi Meatman! Yes only pictures ,no instructions! It was not so easy! Quote
Paul Boratko Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 I hate stickers, but I think these complement this well and don't look too overdone or tacky.. Quote
ifilin Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 (edited) Paul, this Police car is perfect! And when an instruction will be available? Edited June 7, 2015 by ifilin Quote
Meatman Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Paul, please tell me that you are going to have instructions for that black and white police car. It looks incredible. Quote
Paul Boratko Posted June 9, 2015 Author Posted June 9, 2015 Paul, please tell me that you are going to have instructions for that black and white police car. It looks incredible. Eric is working on instructions for 3 alterante colors for this model... Yes, for the first time, we are going to have 3 alternates. Blue/White PD Special Black/White PD Special Black/Red X19 We decided to do the Black and Red model instead of Black and Orange because the 9L and 11L Orange liftarms are so very rare and expensive... But if anyone wants to substitute the Red ones out for Orange, it will be a simple swap.. I am looking forward to seeing what other interesting color combos and modifications that people will come up with.. Quote
Blakbird Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 The instructions are in the final release phase. I've test built the model last weekend and thought I would offer some photos. The parts: The chassis build: The body build: And a comparison with some other white car MOCs: Larger versions of all photos at my Bricksafe. Quote
Rishab N Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 (edited) I'm tempted to build this now. A white and blue supercar offers a lot of variety compared to the all red ones I own. Are there any rare parts aside from maybe the blue flex axles(Not sure how rare those are) Edited June 18, 2015 by Rishab N Quote

Are there any rare parts aside from maybe the blue flex axles(Not sure how rare those are) The blue flex axles are quite rare, but you could use pneumatic tubing instead. Other than that, I did not have any major problems finding parts. The 41999 wheels are expensive but not required. Quote
