Posted February 12, 201510 yr It's been a while since I've had the inspiration to build something. Almost like 2 years now. But I've been busy with a couple of projects I had laying around... Which this one, is one of the first to be completed. Mainly build this for the '87th Lugnuts Challenge' on Flickr. Some incorporation I really wanted to do was an alternate steering method. Coyote; a hot rod inspired by 'Gas Monkey Garage' and 'Delta Bombers - The Wolf'. More on Flickr photostream. Edited February 12, 201510 yr by -zenn
February 12, 201510 yr Great engine work, and the steering is brilliant, although I would be terrified to drive it seeing nothing linking left and right tires together also great use of the ice pick for door handles
February 12, 201510 yr Cool ride '-zenn'.......it's been a while since your last design ? Brick On '-zenn' !
February 12, 201510 yr Sweet hot rod! The details are just great, mainly in the engine. Great idea with the silver bars! I'm interested on the technique you used for the steering.
February 13, 201510 yr Author Cool ride '-zenn'.......it's been a while since your last design ? Brick On '-zenn' ! Thanks mate. Yeah... a 40 hour workweek, a 40 hour enhanced study (packed 4 years into 1) + finals, ending a messed up relationship after close to 8 years, having a social life = not the best combo in the world to build. Glad to be back from the dead! Sweet hot rod! The details are just great, mainly in the engine. Great idea with the silver bars! I'm interested on the technique you used for the steering. If you look closely, the steering is a illegal connection; + (minifig hips + round wheelholder)
February 13, 201510 yr Brilliant design and great use of parts to achieve the steering mech. Love it!
