I noticed the exchange, but I supposed it was for someone who wasn't you. On the other hand, he could have been a scheming little scummo lying through his leaves.

They did claim (don't ask me why) to be some kind of killer, that was last night, I figured Vig, but said it was not exactly vigilante, so that could be the bomb thing. They targetted Bobby, is what he told me last.. But whose claiming it's some kind of bomb, Simon! Yay. I'm afraid Barry was a kind of vig, and was killed and janitored by the scum. I say we execute the plan we talked about, Simon. For those that don't know already. I am the town Holy Tree, or vengeful. Player that hammers a lynch of me dies. So what I'm thinking, we lynch me, and Simon plays the Hammervote. He thinks I'm 100% scum, he's made that abundantly, so clearly he's not afraid of dying from the vengeful action. But it's okay, because he's scum, and I'm town, so he'll die, and I die too, sad times, but 1 scum for 1 town is pretty good still. It's win-win for the town, whatever happens. How in canopy's sake does Berty know I've been talking to Barry?

Did you point that out to anyone yesterday? I think you may have to consider a third-party with the number of losses last night. Barry was janitored, nothing on his alignment. Larry was lynched. Two others, both oaks, Clem and Bobby were cut down. One of these could be the result of a third-party kill. I asked him in thread and someone else responded that was his code. He then confirmed in his next post. No one else gave it any attention. Did you notice at the time that it wasn't a code from the list he had sent you? Yes. Who ever has his code is obviously still alive. Thats, what I assumed then and that's what I assume now. Did you ask the other stumps at the time? Are you PMing each other? If you and I were having this conversation tree to tree instead of across the vast forest, I would quickly pull up my roots and run (as fast as a tree could run). I feel like you are trying to get information you shouldn't have or need out of me.

Since when has a neutral party had to last until an arbitrary day like Day Four? Most neutrals have to last until the end of the game or have to be purposefully lynched, not killed mid-game. It just sounds way too suspicious for me. To be fair, however, it isn't like Barry was very townie. Why would the Maples kill him?? Perhaps the scum might have a rolecop, and they found this strange role or that he was a neutral. Or maybe Barry himself is scum and he just made all of this up.

Seriously, looking over the previous days, I've noticed a disturbing trend. Three people fishing for info about Town PRs. I will be pre-empt this by saying that these suspicions are just that, suspicions. Most of what pings me about them is how hard they're pushing for information about the investigator. They could just be heavily scrutinizing to make sure people aren't claiming to Scum. I've earned the reputation. However, it's a bit early to be so sceptical of the information I've brought forward and to be pushing so hard for me to reveal more about it. I'm laying them out as my suspicions in case I'm killed during the night, they are here for everyone to see. I will, in fairness, metagame myself for the noobs. I have played a lot and am often claimed to. This has had mixed results for the Town even when I am Town. I've learned a lot since some early mistakes and I have obliterated some Town teams as a Scum member or Cult Leader even. But I'm an Oak this time. So far, you only have my word. My point is: Nash, Sammy and William know me well. They're right to be worried with people claiming to me no matter what side they're on. So, that's what I'd like to figure out. Which worried are they? Again, so accurate, William.

We... don't actually know if he was town, but he said it.

People I've talked to know your dramatic fit in private and confidence in your role made me question my suspicions but your involvement with a liar make me feel more confident about my suspicions again.

A vengeful tree isn't strictly an oaky role though. It's possible to have a vengeful scum. What makes you 100% sure Simon is scum? Because from where I've been standing, the accusations he made against you made sense. I don't necessarily agree that these accusations prove that you're scum, but I can definitely see the logic behind Simon's thinking. Yup, seeing that no one can corroborate the results; I think you may be scum. I would have thought the investigator would have sent their codes to one of the stumps by now. It's odd that they haven't, because there's no reason for them not to.

It's also possible to have a wacky wavy arm inflatable tube man role and yet we still haven't seen that. Someone get on that. Vengeful scum doesn't happen. Which accusations that he made do you think made sense? Fishing? Undermining him and Bruce and being scum for it? I never fished, that was clearly a lie. How he tried to justify that in private was by avoiding my questions to it. Do you think the "contradiction" makes sense? I don't see the logic you speak of at all. Since a towny doesn't need to lie, nor need to come up with shoddy accusations and display the clever "only reply to some posts" scum-tactic, I am pretty much 100% sure Simon is scum.

Is it possible that the Maples knew Barry was the "bomb" so they janitored him? Unless the the "Alignment Unknown" is supposed to be for a Neutral tree, than I think we might be viewing this the wrong way.

If we want William dead, there are other ways to kill him besides lynch if we're worried that he's a vengeful Scum.
