Posted February 14, 201510 yr Hi everyone, for this contest I realize a bridge layer's tank, inspired by the Titan tank. The funcion are: R track - XL motor L track - XL motor Stabilizating turret (up and down) - L motor with one big linear actuator Bridge layer arm - M motor with two big linear actuator The model is quite finished, just the last touch up and the last photo/video... Follow a preview, hope you like it!
February 14, 201510 yr Author Here some photo, not very good... this is my inspiration model. This is my result, not all ended... indipendent suspension line and chain puller mechanism the rear part and the openable maintenance door with the engine cooling rotor Today better photo, description and videos in action!

February 15, 201510 yr Author I like very much the supercar that partecipate to the contest, but I want to realize something I've never seen surfin' on web, so I realize this biiiiiiig tank. Weight: 2100 g for tank, 500g for bridge, total over 2,6 kg Measure: tank: 46 x 23 cm, h 15 cm, 18 cm with bridge loaded 39 (plus 15 stud for elevating turret) x 28 stud bridge: 45 x 22 cm 55 x 27 stud
February 16, 201510 yr Author Previously I said that I want to realize somithing I've never found on web... so I made the mechanism by using linear actuator, like in the real tank... For the turret and the arm I use chebyshev linkage, because I need a wide angolar range. yesterday night I was too tired to post it, sorry...It has been a hard work, expecially because I'm not a very experienced master constructor... I hope to take at least one vote this time...
February 17, 201510 yr Author I forgot to report here the TC6 video link, with the bridgelaying action... It's not a great video, with my child on background, sorry, I made it really in the short time I've had... Edited February 17, 201510 yr by jeanska79
