super-jaschka Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) Hi guys! I came back, thank you all for your support. Probably helped fists from the Russian Far East. And so. I watched a bit of the models that were submitted for the contest (TC 6). A lot of good work, but I have not met one fire truck. And it was my choice fell on this model. -1 L for driving and outriggers (manual switching function) -1 S for steering -1 M for turntable -1 M for boom lift -1 PF lights -2 IR receivers Look what I got ... Finally a short video ... Edited February 15, 2015 by super-jaschka Quote

Richard Dower Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 (edited) ^ you have my vote!....i never see any fire or rescue vehicles, this is excellent and it looks like a set TLG would actually release....minus the PF driving. I could easily see this as a €100 set for sale and you can by the PF set to motorsise the rear functions. One thing...i think you should add a fire hose to the area where the fireman would stand...there are several City fire trucks that should give you an idea of what is needed. How does this scale to 8289?...using those rare 1x7 thin liftarms! Edited February 15, 2015 by Richard Dower Quote
Awaken_M1nd Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Yakov, excellent job The style is very balanced between real shapes and model from box look. Quote
jorgeopesi Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Small and compact truck , is fully extended the linear actuator?. Quote

You are right, I forgot about the hose. This is just crazy awesome! Thank you! When I see your models I feel like a bad student Edited February 15, 2015 by super-jaschka Quote
Omikron Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I wondered where the second IR receiver is for a couple of seconds . I like those tiny details in the cabin like gear changer, steering and seats  And I especially like how you made a tiny asymmetric part of the grill just to keep OCD people "in tone". Any special reason for this particular part? Quote

I can hope that the model will be on your page... Small and compact truck , is fully extended the linear actuator?. Thank you! I give priority to small model. you can always find a place on the shelf Quote
Thirdwigg Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Nice to see a small MOC in the contest. Very clean with all the functions needed. Quote
krtwood Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 This is pretty much what I was hoping for from TLG for an official set this year! It looks way better than the Arocs, IMO. Quote
MrTekneex Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 This really could be an official set! I'd like to build this one day! Well done, keep it up the good work! Quote
MrNumbskull13 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Super clean entry, great functions too. Good luck! Quote
