Capn Frank Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 There never is a lot of bidders for European Pirate LEGO eBay auctions and I've been pointing this out for a couple of years. However, it seems none of the European users here take a advantage of it and I'm a complete loss as to why. Will you be bidding on these auctions Mr Tiber? my brother regulalarly buys lego pirate sets on ebay. i also got an emporor's ship rescently for 15 USD although my brother had to help cause my ebay account is really screwed up right now :S Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 11, 2007 Governor Posted March 11, 2007 But Emperor's ship isn't a Pirate LEGO set... As for your brother, which sets, how much and which countries did they come from? Quote
El Bucanero Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Will you be bidding on these auctions Mr Tiber? No, I don't have any money left because I've already bought a Skull's eye Schooner, a Lagoon Lock up and a Renegader Runner Mr Tiber Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 11, 2007 Governor Posted March 11, 2007 Were they cheap or did you pay a good price? Quote
SWMAN Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 What is all that in U.S. dollars. They seem cheap, but I wouldn't know how much they are compared to other items on a foreign Ebay. On the U.S. one, pirate sets are expensive, along with all the other lego sets you can find. Quote
Scouty Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 $20.641369 U.S. dollar-Skull Island $40.07395 U.S. dollar- Eldorado Fortress $20.36545 U.S. dollar- Renegade Runner $40.07395 U.S. dollar- Black Seas Barracuda Will you be bidding on these auctions Mr Tiber? I won't bid because I'm quite broke after that SES... You know, you should fully read Mr. Tiber's post :-P . Quote
El Bucanero Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Were they cheap or did you pay a good price? 139 euro(excluding 30 euro insurance and shipping! :-|| )Seems like a good price to me. According to the pictures, they are in a quite good condition Mr Tiber Quote

According to the pictures, they are in a quite good conditionMr Tiber Some nice sets you have bought. Will you use the parts for MOC-ing? I used the hull and masts of my Skull's eye Schooner for making the L'Orient. Do you always take insurance Mr. Tiber? I have never requested insurance and all my orders arrived (lets hope it stays like that). Quote
Capn Frank Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 But Emperor's ship isn't a Pirate LEGO set... it came with lots of piratey elements though As for your brother, which sets, how much and which countries did they come from? i don't know how much he pays for them on ebay, but he never pays more than BL, and probably buys from ppl in US or canada the sets he has gotten that i remember right now are: 5 armada flag ships 1 armada outpost (don't remember the official name :) ) eldorado fortress BSB Carribean Clipper Islander Catamaran 2 imperial outposts cannon cove he also got most of the western sets and more but i can't remember them all. He got them all while he was deployed to go to Kuwait P Quote

El Bucanero Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Well, Mister Cole (or others) Maybe you are interested in this 6279 Skull Island Only 15 euros (approx 20 dollars) for this beautiful set WITH box! If you are new on eBay, I reccomend you to bid more then 25 euros in order to win this item. The auction will end in less than 4 hours! ( my friend tried bidding less and it didn't work) If you don't understand German, He sais it complete and in mint condition. Mr Tiber Quote
El Bucanero Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 Well, It seems the prices got a little higher since this thread was created (except for the Skull Island) Is there any of you who placed bids on them? BTW, If you want to buy one, you need to be fast, because this auction ends in 5 hours. I friend of mine told he placed a 20 euro bid on the Skull Island but wasn't the highest... PLEASE bid on the skull island! Something went wrong when bidding and now this could end up with me as the highest bidder!! PLEASE!!! there's only 30 minutes left!!! Mr Tiber Quote

And the fact you use 3 smilies with different emotions( |-/ :-D :-P ), I don't understand what's your emotion... Mr Tiber Quote

I have no money left after I bought something. I have started with the construction of my house, so that's were all my money is going from now on. Normally I would have ordered the Cafe's Corner already, but now I'm doubting if I want to spend the money at this moment. Not being able to buy everything at once also has its benefits. When you can buy it eventually, you will enjoy it even more! Quote
