Governor Mister Phes Posted December 4, 2008 Governor Posted December 4, 2008 I thought widgets were a MAC thing. Apparently not! If they're made in Flash then they should be cross platform compatible. YOU don't use a Mac??? That is pretty much the last thing I ever expected! And you posting in the Pirate forum again is pretty much the last thing I ever expected! You should drop by more often - we're living in exciting times. Quote

Big Cam Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 You have some nice parents, I think this also could have been posted in this thread instead. Quote
MrTools Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 (edited) My parents gave me a picture of the Imperial Flagship that said "Thank You for your order" at the top, but it turned out they ordered all my stuff online and gave me the picture because they thought i would like it. David Thomsen Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 (edited) You have some nice parents, I think this also could have been posted in this thread instead. My girlfriend was lucky, too... I got her an unopened copy of the original Pirate raft, 6257. The one with three pirates and a shark. The box was a bit damaged, so I didn't have to pay mint price for it and my girlfriend didn't care about the box. I also got her the 2009 remake of the raft, 6240. So now she has the full Pirate Advent Calendar and two pirate rafts from different eras. She is quite happy. And I get to keep the little advertising brochure from 6257, which makes me happily nostalgic... Edited December 26, 2009 by David Thomsen Quote

Admiral Bejaune Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 (edited) Well the other day a good friend of mine gave me his lot of his old pirate sets, Which included a BSB and a SES and a few other sets. However they are not assembled and never will be due to my mocing. Anyhow I did come across a few great rare to semi rare minifigs among the 25+ others, and I just had to share it with everyone. Here is an over view: Steve's (which puts my total up to 8 of them): Anchor pirates (puts my total up to 8 as well): The women (My Total red dress up to 9 and this is my first green dress): And the Spaniards ( I have two of each ): Well thats it, I had to share it with everyone, and the best part is that it was free! -Admiral Bejaune P.S. I owe you a steve Rick, this I know! Edited March 10, 2010 by Admiral Bejaune Quote

Ratshot Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Your so lucky I take your friend has no idea what this is worth on the AFOL market? Probably not, those Steve's must be worth 30 Canadian dollars. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 What an amazing surprise! Especially these Steve minifigs are very rare. And to be honest, I have never known that dress was avaible in green as well. Your friend wil burst in tears if he knows what he just gave away! A nice catch for you Admiral! Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 28, 2010 Governor Posted March 28, 2010 Probably not, those Steve's must be worth 30 Canadian dollars. They're not quite that much! The most expensive on BrickLink right now is US$20.00 while the cheapest is around US$11.45. Quote
