Selander Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 This is my favourite diesel shunter, and I've built it several times.... I present now my latest attempt and it is 8wide in base with a body in various widths from 5-7studs and with lots of 1/2 plate offset to replicate the interesting shape of the original engine. As always it is nice to hear what you trainheads think about it. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Great work Selander ...I really like MOC with BBB medium wheels! Quote
Hoexbroe Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I think you could easily make the driving rods move too. Nice buffer-design too, by the way! ;-) Quote
Richfilth Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 It's a great design: it looks like it would fit perfectly with 12V-era sets Quote
3797 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Looks great. How's the traction with those BBB wheels? Quote
zephyr1934 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Very smooth, almost too clean to be lego (grin). Neat trick with the combined end rails and 1x4 tiles w/ studs (or is it plates missing 2 studs?) Quote
