I realise this set isn't that new anymore, but I really wanted to do a review of it. I really like it and Aero Booster is on my non-break list.

The arms and side jets are very poseable. I am not sure if it was the intention, but they are the right height to use as a prop so he doesn't fall over. (The technic liftarm in the middle is not tall enough. It is there more to for swooshing reasons, and also to help you fire the projectile.)

The mech and the backpack are held together with a single axel, which works quite well. (It normally sits flush. I have half removed it to show how it connects.)

The left weapon is removable and fits into the mechs left hand if you remove the hose and use the yellow axel joiner on the right shoulder. (I don't really like this feature.)

Aside from splashing out on a new golden top, Ha-Ya-To is the same as last year. (New guy on left.)

This part was a large reason why I wanted this set.

It is used on the gun for decoration, but it reality it is a Technic Driving Ring and my only piece like it is buried in an 8421 crane. This piece is priced from 5-15 USD on Bricklink and this is the cheapest set it has ever been found in.

Over all, I think this is a great set, and I have found myself running though the house making jet noises. I highly recommend it.

(I am not 100% happy with these photos so I might re-do some of them. If anyone wants photos of anything please ask. I wont do the manual though. If you want that I recommend you download it.)

A very nice review with good and useful pictures, thanks Sinner. *y*

I really like that set too. A small recon mecha with a huge jet pack for

air surveillance.... smart. The only thing I despise is the asymmetrical

design of the engines, especially for the middle one. That

Excellent review. Would you say that this set is one of your favorite sets this year?

Thanks. Yes I would. It is definitely my favorite Exo-Force set this year. My favourite set this year has to be the Technic Bulldozer, followed by the MTT and the Harbour. Aero Booster is probably next.

Awesome reveiw, but I probably wouldn't but this set:

1. I have no where to put it

2. The jet pack thing is kinda dumb and bulky.

I personally have always hated the exoforce line which the exception of the hair and the heads since they can change expression. I don't like anime, or whatever the line is based on. Manga/anime/etc.

I have run out of space for Lego as well. Interestingly, I like how the jet pack is too big, but I don't like the rotating heads...

Great and thorough review! *wub* *wub* *wub* I'm so proud of you! oo didz sutz a dood jobs!

Here's for your hard work:

I certainly don't think this set is too old to review. By my standards anyway, but I normally review sets a couple months or so after they come out. Especially here on EB where people are reviewing them months before they're even available in the states. I don't think there's ever a bad time to review a set. I plan on reviewing the Public Works and Holiday Home, which I bought recently on BL. I'll get to it eventually.

Nice shadowbox, btw. Little tip: I try to avoid the corner so there is a pure white background and not the three seams coming together. But overall, great photography and great review. Good walrus! Good boy!

I'm glad you reviewed this because it's on my potential wish list and seeing how many great parts are in there, I will definitely be using next month's budget on this. Care to have an alternate model build-off? >:-)

EDIT: One more tip-Fabuland figures make great additions to set reviews... :-P

I look forward to it.

Thanks. At the time I took the photo I was experimenting. I have exanded the area now so I should be able to take photos of sets the size of Aero Booster without showing the corner. I am not sure about the smackdown MOC however. (Ahghghgh hints! Stop it you baaad boy!)

Perhaps, but I do like this set and was planning on leaving it together for a few months... :-$

I considered it but I thought I would be stepping on your turf and would get in twouble. 8-|

I can either leave mine unfiltered or filter yours for you. We can send our pictures to eachother at the same time, so I don't have any advantage. Like I would quickly rebuild mine to look exactly like yours. :-D :-D :-D I want everyone to win! :-| But, when you add the third light it will help out a lot. Are you able to install photoshop? And also what version?

EDIT: Didn't you say something about you were going to add a third light? Maybe in was in another thread...

Oh, I was mostly joking. But maybe we can have a build-off every couple months or something. Start a tradition. *sweet* *y*

Mi turfo es su turfo, amigo! Put your sig-fig in! Put the whole population of Fabuland in, I'd be flattered! :-$ You have my express permission to use Fabuland figs in your reviews. :-)

This could be the best option.

I am not sure if I did, but I do plan to add an extra light when I take the photos.

Well unless this current one ends in disaster, I would love to. Especially since my FFLSMP seems to have flatlined...
