Hello everyone. I want to introduce you to my first plane.

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/95723

The plane is a small single-engine propeller floatplane. in fact it is a regular plane, but which instead chassis fastened 2 float for takeoff / landing on water.

Before that, I did only motor vehicles and of little buildings. To create his inspired me a new set of 2015 60070 Water Plane Chase from which you can notice, I borrowed some features of the aircraft, but made it more real, and not as a toy in the set.

Some definite no real prototype, but it seems to me, it looks like a de havilland canada dhc-2, although the size, if we take the scale of 1/40, my is a bit smaller. My model is the size of a hair's breadth a Cessna 172, but the form is clearly different. so that in general a collective image.

We now turn to the model and first-round visibility.

The plane is white with orange stripes.

We have wings props. I note that they are located not only at an angle, and even diagonally.

Now tell you a little about the functionality of the model.

The cab doors open on both sides, that we could go to the pier from different sides

Also, the aircraft has a small storage compartment in the rear, which is also open on both sides. It is possible to make modifications where his place will be a place for another 1-2 minifigures

Frickin' Sweet! Nothing nicer than a well done Lego Plane.

Now I know what project I will be working on this weekend. I have to have one of these on my desk my Monday morning at work.

Great work! Great texture from the various bricks.

That's a great little plane, it's vague enough to be based on anything but it's still full of detail. I'm definitely looking forward to more from you Macsergey.

Building excellence only matched by your photography excellence, really love the pic of the propeller in motion.

I love the scale of everything, extremely ideal.

Is this the same as the one on Ideas? Either way I totally love it and I would by more than one if they appeared as a set. Now you have the fuselage and wings etc down are you going to build some more variants? Cessna Caravan on wheels would be awesome.

Superb work...especially as its your first crack at this type of build. I love the little ingenious deatails (the door hinges, brick built wings, the wing props etc) that all come togther to make this a really in depth build. Especially at this scale...fantastic!

Love your colour decor work....hope to see you progress and develop more of these builds!

Thank you all for your feedback on my model, I'm glad you liked it

I can lay out later model made in LDD

you mean lego ideas? no, it's entirely my design, inspired by a set of 60070

Nicely executed, but I think your chances on ideas are slim. There's a very similar idea on there already and - as you mentioned yourself - lego actually has a set out now with an also very similar (but a bit simpler) plane in 60070.
