BusterHaus Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 The techniques and pieces you use for some of the small details are quite clever. The guard rails, the stairs, the rope posts in the back... I think your client will be very happy with the results. Beautiful work, Edwin. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 It is cool to see how you come up with such amazing details! Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted February 17, 2017 Author Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) Today i got ready with the sundeck on the super yacht and was fun to make all the small details. Sunbeds, outdoor kitchen, bar, dining table and some benches. only the mast and the stabilization rudders have to be build. When @Jaap Technic is back from Denmark he makes some stickers for the name and country for her. Edited March 13, 2017 by Edwin Korstanje Quote

WvG_853 Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Always fascinating to see the progress on your builds. Thanks for sharing! A question concerning the accessories such as the bar stools. Do you fix them to the floor or are they posed freely. I love your eye for detail, even the lounge beds have chromed feet! Out of curiosity: Have you ever been asked to build a sailing yacht? Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted February 19, 2017 Author Posted February 19, 2017 (edited) I am almost ready with her and only 2 parts must come in from BL. Later on this week the stickers for the name and country come in. The building time for her was 180 hours and around the 14000 parts. Thanks for all the great comments on the build. ColletArrow Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 She looks amazing, as do all your other builds... How do you start building these? Do you try to formulate a plan, or just start? (Sorry, you've probably been asked this loads of times ) I hope the new owner appreciates the work that has gone into this beauty. Quote
