Edwin Korstanje Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) 1/20.... That will be a monster, how do you plan to move something like that. The models could be made to float with bionicle containers for buoyancy. For insight the Netherlands i always deliver the models my self and make a case ore box for it that i can move it, but when it must send outside the Netherlands the yards will and wanted helps me and have lucky that the shipyards have there own carpentry workshop inside there house and make with the carpenter the case togehter, that the case is so thight that the models can't move in it. Some times fals some smal details off the model and send then first pictures to them that they can rebuild it and if the damage is too big they fly me in to rebuild it . Edwin Korstanje Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) You have already seen some teaser from my first big superyacht and this model wil stand in the new Nostarch book. http://www.nostarch....goscalemodeling, but for the same occasion of the delivery of the real ship and the big model i got a dedication to create and deliver a limited set of it. My great buddy JunkstyleGio have made the instructions for it Only 50 sets are made of it and not available in the marked, only for the yard and owner. The scale is almost 1/150 and have 548 parts. Stephan Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Those MOCs are awesome! I am an intern at Damen Dredging, so it is nice to see those boats! Die MOC's zijn echt super! Ik ben stagiaire bij Damen Dredging, dus het is extra leuk om die boten voorbij te zien komen. Quote

Blakbird Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Created awesome model. Made full instructions for it. Made full build kits for it. Told us we can't buy it. That's just cruel. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) Sorry Blakbird and know it's cruel . But working for the marked leaders is a lot crueler . All the rights© are with me, but the exclusive rights are for the client and the most times i can't make it public for you here at EB . Edited May 6, 2015 by VFracingteam Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 (edited) Thank you guys for the kind words . I do only my best to make me and mine customers happy. Today arrived the box and printed instruction for a project that whe diliverd two months ago for Naval architects KNUD E. HANSEN A/S from Denmark and DAMEN Shipyards. This project was for me and JunkstyleGio our smallest set in parts, but biggest in numbers and have only 89 parts for a 80 meter long ship . Maybe this is not our best creation, but for disign a set with 89 parts in micro scale is . The sets are now arrived for the real customer at the Fogo island and Labrador, Newfoundland, Canada and is a give away pressent for the deliver party for the real ships in oktober and later on. Greetings Edwin. Launches at the Damen Gelatti Shipyard. Edited September 18, 2015 by VFracingteam Quote
