Edwin Korstanje Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 For me all ships are looking similar) It's just the same for me Egor. For building in commision for a client is not that what i wanted to build, but what they wanted and after 23 ships they look all the same and it's all in the detail. Quote

I guess, gyus with own oil wells from near east will be intersted in desert cruisers. But they don't have time for youtube and eurobricks, too much oil .... Edited August 7, 2016 by rm8 Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted August 13, 2016 Author Posted August 13, 2016 Thanks for the great comments . Today i make a lot of Progress on the Bever. Quote
syclone Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 I am really impressed how much detail your models have at such scale Quote
Dafgek81 Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) That is one beautiful ship, the craftsmanship on this is stunning. Where do you get those 3,2mm tubes you use, I need some for pneumatic crane arms to tidy up the pneumatic routing there. Edited August 14, 2016 by Dafgek81 Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 Thanks Clive and LXF . For myself it's always a struggle to work in this smal scale to make all the details But when i seen the outcome of a total result and a happy client is very gratefully. That is one beautiful ship, the craftsmanship on this is stunning. Where do you get those 3,2mm tubes you use, I need some for pneumatic crane arms to tidy up the pneumatic routing there. Best Dafgek, Give me pleasy a PM for your quest. (In ducth i speaking a lot easyer ) Quote
jorgeopesi Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Handrails and stairs are awesome, could you have been able to put a curved line over the side?, not aligned with the others like in the real one. Quote

I think you mean the curved line on the chimney Jorge ?! If you do the answer is yes . It was a bussy bulding day today and got ready with the Bever. I take quickly some pictures, but the light in house was already gone, anyway here is the finished result. The exact part count i don't know and i think it's around 3700 parts. Best regards, Edwin I hope to make some better pictures later on this week. Quote
jorgeopesi Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 I mean this one, enough charasterictic or not?, what a way to show it... . Quote
Lipko Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 I think he meant the concave edge on the hull. Quote
jorgeopesi Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 It is easier work with flex axles, I love don't have to build ships. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 I think he meant the concave edge on the hull. Jorge have such big fingers. It's possible to make this curved line in the bow, but not is this scale and style. Only with a SNOT hull and bigger than 1/50 you can make this lines. It is easier work with flex axles, I love don't have to build ships. Sometimes i wiches the same Jorge that i never started shipbuilding ore work in commission Quote
grum64 Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Sometimes i wiches the same Jorge that i never started shipbuilding ore work in commission What! And deprive us of seeing your amazing builds! No. No. No. Quote
Lipko Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 I like the hull of this ship, but to be honest, I don't like most other hulls of yours because of the stepped style. I think with the current parts (slopes, hinges, tiles) it should be possible to make smoother hulls. But that's just my opinion. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 (edited) What! And deprive us of seeing your amazing builds! No. No. No. Don't worry Clive, i was only joking. I like the hull of this ship, but to be honest, I don't like most other hulls of yours because of the stepped style. I think with the current parts (slopes, hinges, tiles) it should be possible to make smoother hulls. But that's just my opinion. You are complete right and i don't like the studd up style for the hulls myself, but the last 3 years i only have build in commission for clients and they choose the style, budget and scale . Next project is lucky again in a SNOT hull with great collors and a lot bigger Edited August 16, 2016 by Edwin Korstanje Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted January 22, 2017 Author Posted January 22, 2017 (edited) To dust of my topic is here some project where i am working on.
