Corvus Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 It was really hard to choose. I ended up choosing MOC 1 for the playability as well. It also reminds me of the Republic Cruiser. :-P Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Both are HIDEOUS in color... but, 1 to 3, moc 1 is justifiably winning. What was the theme to this exactly? I mean... yikes. lol Quote
Corvus Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 (edited) Oh thank you *wub* I like the taller saWait, what?! But why? I hardly know you. :'-( What did I do to deserve this? Please don't cut the new sail you built with your sword :'-( And I just received this picture in an unmarked envelope shoved under my door: >:-( Sinner, care to explain what you were doing with my boat, in the toilet? And what happened between that picture and Mr. Tiber's theft? I miss my boat :'-( New contest! new contest! Flush-a-boat! :-D Edit: wait... Wasn't this somewhere else? Did the topics merge? I mean... yikes. lol Hey, that's a bit harsh. :'-( But to answer your question, no theme at all, just make what you can with the pieces from four sets. The blues and greens were hard to blend. More comments will have to wait until we reveal who made what... Quote

gylman Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Considering the limited part selection, I don't think the colors are that bad. Oh, the colours are bad all right. Really bad. But obviously it's the parts selection. Colour selection is the most under-rated aspect of MOCing. But what does one expect with part selection from Exo Force and Harry Potter, perhaps the two most colour-challenged themes in LEGO history. Quote

Hinckley Posted August 6, 2007 Author Posted August 6, 2007 I know what you're thinkin', punks. You're thinkin' did copmike fire six shots or only five? Now to tell you the truth, I forgotten myself in all this excitement. But bein' this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful non-LEGO handgun in the AFOL-world, and it'll blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question. Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punks? >:-) !Game On *y* copmike Copmike, I clearly remember this speech being very intimidating. I was so scared, I pooped my pants a little...just a little. :-$ But for some reason, this is the next picture on the roll: I don't remember exactly how the tables got turned that way but I do clearly remember you uttering the phrase: "Damn! I forgot to load the walrus-hide-piercing-bulletts." Quote

And what happened between that picture and Mr. Tiber's theft?I miss my boat :'-( All right, I admit it. I had your boat. I don't think Mr. Tiber ever had it. But I haven't got it anymore. I sold it for a bunch of pretty blue flowers. Here is the proof. You can see it in the shop window. After the bucket incident I wanted revenge and did flush the boat, but it wouldn't go down, not even when I tried sending a chaser down as well. I don't know how that photo was taken but it was after I changed my mind and decided to keep it. But when I saw that woman. *wub* Sorry, but she makes me forget all about clams.... I think she feels the same way too! Quote

Aye, and after you sold it I plundered the bloody shop with my gang of bloodthirsty duplo keychains because I was aware of the fact this sailboat was infact Mr Hinckleys sailboat. I wanted this colelctors item to cheer up my dark cabin. After that, I enlarged the sail... It's all symmetry again! Steal-a-boat on! Mr Tiber Edited August 6, 2007 by Mr Tiber Quote
štauder Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Why dont you extend the hull too? Use a 3x1 plate mount the clip thing in the center an the sail on it... I cant illustrate as I am abroad and -sniff- Legoless... If we should have a neverending story topic.. this should be it... Quote
