Beautiful.

And the violin does seem to be the man concept of the bodywork.

Is it your first MOC or do you have other stuff we can see?

The only thing I could ask for is the addition of the sidepods just in front of the rear wheels, but I assume that didn't gel well with the curved bodywork.

Regardless this is a brilliant MOC.

Thanks.

It's my second moc- but the first one suffered from a lack of planing ahead. I started building and at some point I realized the model became too heavy for the motors, and had to cut some of the ideas I had, so I don't think of it as a complete work or at least in the way I see de Bac Mono.

Here are some photos- just another supercar rc, oh and this one has independent suspensions, the model was bigger:

I forgot : this one has also a video :

I envy your talent, that car is pretty awesome.

Very very nice MOCs. Both of your MOCs have nice curves and that makes them look stunning !

Thanks.I guess I'm a bit of an underestimater.:)

A bare-chassis, 500-hp, 500 lb-ft of torque (specs on me) supercar? SOLD! Love the lines you've made with the flex tubing. The aesthetics are top-notch period, no qualifications. Though it's worth noting that no Top Gear presenter chose your car in the Australia Challenge in Series 22 because... well, you know, internals are bare.

How fast is it? I might redo the specs when I scale the top speed.

Wow! Looks a lot better than mine! Only thing I'd suggest is making the rear fenders black to make the "stingray" design stand out more.

Hey, that's quite a neat looking car! All it needs is a roof and windows :classic:

I think we have the makings of a potential master. Excited to see future work. Ditto to what everyone has said regarding the aesthetics on these builds. I really hope... wish.... that TLG would or will (future tense :classic: ) begin producing more of the flex axles. While some are still in moderate supply ( I wouldn't argue than any are in large supply) the overall supply for these elements is low. THink of what could be done aesthetically if there was not a limited supply........

I would love to see a new supercar from TLG (last one was 8070, in 2011. We are about due for a new one) with oodles of flex axles. Keep the functionality of prior versions but improve the looks with like 2 or 3 times the number of flex axles. Flagship model for 2016? Can I get some love with this recommendation?

I'd really like to see another supercar come from TLG also!

8070 was a hell of a set- and until recent it was the basis for most of the car/supercar designs- this one also. ( 8070 is my only complete set). But I don't think we will see another supercar soon- Firstly, 8070 was a complete set- with pf - and cool functions if you ask me, it looked great, with specialized pieces that will allow you to build an large array of models; it had soft axles, and panels; an abundace of red pieces; gearbox, independent suspensions, etc. Improving from that it's very hard- what will the new supercar set have that will set it apart from its precedesor- because the diference between 8448 and 8070 for example is considerable.

Secondly, I think it's safer for TLG to design more construction equipment vehicles than road ones for their flagships - after all it's a lot more fun to play with a crane's boom, or a forklift or an excavator's bucket than it is to open a car's hood and doors.

I agree with you regarding soft axles supply: nowere to be found; if there are 10 in one place then they are expensive; some of the prices on red 14l and 16l are humongous; more than power puller tires. I had made my goal to amass as much of them as possible, so whenever I have to make an order on bl for a few pieces I need, I choose a small store that also has soft axles at resonabile prices( 3 here; 5 there etc.)- it costs more on shipping than purchasing all my pieces from a single large store at once but I didn't see another way. I am now the proud owner of 40 x red soft axle 19L and counting. :classic:
