Posted February 25, 201510 yr Hi everyone, This is the first Star Wars MOC I post on Eurobricks. It is almost four and a half years ago I made a Star Wars MOC. I was an exhibitor at an event in the south of the Netherlands. The MOC is inspired from the scenes of Revenge of the Sith and the landscapes from Legoland Germany and Denmark. The landscape is 2 by 6 XL plates big and it has a lot of details. When I see landscapes of Star Wars, I see mostly Endor, Hoth or Christophsis. That is the reason why I wanted Kashyyyk. Here is the link to the pictures. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=553473 Comments and/or feedback are welcome. It is the first Star Wars MOC in years. Sander
February 25, 201510 yr Author That is weird. This morning I had 86 views. Perhaps I clicked at something that made this happen. How can I insert pictures. Copy from Word is not working and attachments are not possible, because the pictures are too big.
February 25, 201510 yr Author Here is a picture of the ‘end’ section of the landscape. Edited February 25, 201510 yr by LuxorV Cleared failed picture upload.
February 25, 201510 yr I see you're having troubles adding pictures to the post, sander1992. To do that you have to follow one of the procedures listed in the How can I upload pictures of my creations to the forums? section of this post. Basically, you'll need to load the pictures on a photo sharing site, the deeplink or link them from there. Hope you'll find this useful and will be able to share your pictures soon.
February 25, 201510 yr Author Thanks. I will look into it. The link is working again. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=553473
February 26, 201510 yr It looks great! the inclusion of the official sets on the custom made landscape makes a great combination, my only suggestion is to reinforce the beachline, those wookies have been sent to the "meat grinder" or are to brave for their own good.
February 26, 201510 yr Author Thanks. I wish I had more minifigs to make a beachline. I got only 8 battle packs. I needed figs in the entire landscape. In the movie the wookies are running towards the tank droids.
February 26, 201510 yr This is awesome, sander1992! I like the tracks left behind by the Clone Turbo Tanks; nice attention to detail! Edited February 26, 201510 yr by Sir Gareth
February 26, 201510 yr Great work! Just a tip for next time, when you post insert the Link in the picture button then the image will show up.
February 26, 201510 yr That's a really nice MOC. I like the waves coming from the Droid Tank, and the tracks behind the Turbo Tank. Edited February 26, 201510 yr by Kelso
February 26, 201510 yr This looks great! And huge! Probably my favourite battle from the prequels, other that the Obi-Wan vs, Anakin duel of fates. (Though I must confess, those are my ONLY favourite bits of the prequels... )
February 26, 201510 yr Author Thanks everyone. @ Tarik J: Thanks, I will remember it for next time. All the 1x2 plates I have in dark orange are in the tire tracks. It is the first time that I have created huge waves like these. The funny thing is if you remove the tank the waves look like a bird or a flying insect. Or that's just my imagination.
March 2, 20159 yr Very nice work Also one of my favourite scenes of Ep III. The jungle is convincing! Maybe you can add more details on the sand. I don't know why I love those old Turbo Tanks and the Catamaran so much. Nostalgia I guess (or is it for the minifigs? ). I see you added some details on the catamaran. I've always thought it doesn't look like the real one. The upgrade you've done is simple but effective :)
March 2, 20159 yr Author Thank you. I used the old Clone Turbo Tanks, because they look rougher and that applies more with the surroundings. I wanted to change the wings of the catamaran, but I didn't have the inspiration for it
March 5, 20159 yr I was going to try to deep link some of the pictures for you, but they are too large a pixel size. It would be helpful if you uploaded them as smaller pictures or used a host site like Flickr which will help you resize them automatically. Great build though!
