Posted March 7, 20159 yr Hello everybody, I want to present you my latest MOC, a Toyota BJ Flatbed. This MOC was built for the LOWLUG 62.4 truck trial organised by Mahjqa. I ''stole'' some design elements from rm8's awesome toyota fj45, such as the placing of some panels. The model features: - XL motor for drive - M motor for steering - M motor for the winch - 3-link front suspension - 4-link rear suspension Here are some pictures: Toyota BJ Flatbed by nicovanduin97, on Flickr Toyota BJ Flatbed by nicovanduin97, on Flickr Toyota BJ Flatbed by nicovanduin97, on Flickr Toyota BJ Flatbed by nicovanduin97, on Flickr Toyota BJ Flatbed by nicovanduin97, on Flickr IMG_20150301_122524 by nicovanduin97, on Flickr And finally a picture of all the contestants: IMG_20150301_143620~2 by nicovanduin97, on Flickr
March 7, 20159 yr I was wondering what happened to you, it been ages. I must say I'm diggin' those small Yotas! ;) So who won the event?
March 7, 20159 yr Is anyone interested in making an LXF for this? If this was a group effort it wouldn't take very long...
March 7, 20159 yr Great use of old hubd and new suspension arms! I love these small realistic offroaders, Lego sure has evolved to allow such compactness!
March 7, 20159 yr Author Thanks for the nice comments everyone, appreciate it! I was wondering what happened to you, it been ages. I must say I'm diggin' those small Yotas! ;) So who won the event? The car all the way in the back won the first prize. (don't have a better picture of it unfortunately). This is so cute!!!! How does the winch work? Just a wormgear driving a 8t gear powering the winch. Is anyone interested in making an LXF for this? If this was a group effort it wouldn't take very long... I'm planning on making a LDD model but I can't promise anything since I'm realy busy with school right now.
March 7, 20159 yr Do you maybe have a link with all the contestants? I would like to see more ideas for this building scale.

I've already started an LXF: just the bodywork, but still about 1/2 an hour of work: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7ClftNJdh9_VWx6U00zTkhORnM/view?usp=sharing Do you maybe have a link with all the contestants? March 8, 20159 yr Author Do you maybe have a link with all the contestants? I would like to see more ideas for this building scale. Unfortunately not, But the guy who build the first car in the row also made a topic about his car: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=106618 There is any video? :3 also about the race! Great creation Thanks! I will make a video soon. The guy organising the event, (Mahjqa) shot some footage, so perhaps he will make a video about the race. In the picture of the axles does the grey gear spin freely? Yup, it does.
March 8, 20159 yr Can't wait to see the video. Great lineup of Toyotas, I love the simplicity of yours which makes it beautiful.

March 8, 20159 yr Thanks, The LDD model is almost ready. Great, did you use mine I lined up a lot of the parts: over 150 pieces. Edited March 8, 20159 yr by TheLegoExpert
