Scarst Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 He wanted to destroy most of the Western March alongside Ulandus! He also killed his brother but, let's face it, he had that coming to him. It also seems like he wants to bring Nocturnus to Kaliphlin as well. He seems rather corrupt, if you will. And since he's back and using Nocturnus warriors to his advantage, I'd assume he wants to fulfill his tasks that he hadn't done. As has been said The Desert King never actually took over Nocturnus he inherited it from his succession. What he did was try to stablize the three kingdoms. Really the only classification of monster he falls into is the literal kind as he is everliving, not dead but has been dead and by that definition technically ska's Dugal could be considered the same, and then there are the mountain mummies. But as far as rulers go most empires have defining leaders that brought them to a pinnacle, if not in one life time in a string of 2 or 3 rulers. Quote
Bregir Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Another great instalment to the story, which will warrant a second read later! Can't praise this challenge and the great work put into it enough! Quote
Elostirion Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 This has been the best part of the story so far, epic writing in an absolutely neat build. It's amazing how much effort you put into setting up such a huge scenario for us to build in. Quote
