Your favourite droid minifig?

For better or worse, over the years there have been a handful of minifigs of the robotic variety, particularly in the Space theme. Early on droids were all brick-built, but from 1994 onwards we started getting some with the standard minifig parts. So which of that type is your favourite?

(Not including brick-built, The Lego Movie or licenced)

L to R: Spyrius, Exploriens, UFO blue, UFO red, Insectoids

L to R: CMF robot, CMF evil robot, CMF wind-up robot, CMF wind-up lady robot

L to R: Galaxy Squad blue, green, orange, red

L to R: CMF mech, CMF evil mech

Anyone I've forgotten? I put the clockwork robots in there but I don't really count them, and Squidtron from SP3 doesn't look very droid/robot-like to me so I skipped him. Whereas everyone else here looks like a droid.

I really like the galaxy squad red... But I think is head resembles some sort of scifi car.

While I really like the 2 mechs and the evil robot if you got rid of the helmet & claw arm, my favourite is probably the Insectoid droid (not that I have any of the sets, but I do like the minifigs). The GS droid heads are interesting.

I don't know who said it first, but it is a very similar shape to the Slave I!

Ooh, tough question. I picked Spyrius, but I also like the Lady Robot. Too much Futurama, probably, but having her walking around a sci-fi city gives it a more...urban look.

Yeah, too much Futurama.

I really think you should add Squidtron, though, since he's canonically just as much a robot as the rest of the droids.

I have chosen Exploriens just because of the ridiculous trans-neon green 1x1 round brick at the top of its head, priceless!

Gotta be Spyrius, but I also love the Exploriens. I often mod the Exploriens one for my Ice Planet sets. ;)

Interesting, but I would leave the hips as original.

Looks like Spyrius is the top pick so far! Also interesting that although no-one has picked it as favourite, the white mech has no dislike votes either.

Personally I like the CMS Evil Mech, I love black/evil! The Wind-Up Lady Robot though... Great idea for a poll!
