Elostirion Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 (edited) The Ulandian evlven warrior Asirya Sh'ri Fayarenya returns from a latenight stride through the nearby brushes in the Arkbri vale, just to find a spy from the desert king peeking into her tent. Whatever he may or may not have seen there, he won't be able to tell anyone... Poor guy. Builder's note: I am not actually sure how the colours turned out. I tried to go for a night-atmosphere, hence the usage of dark green and dark brown, but then again the light green in the middle seems off. Also I am not entirely sure if I that landscape fits around the Arkbri river, although the land there is rather fertile and also hilly. Next warzone would be K 12. Kai NRG Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Yep, that's the way to serve 'em out! Snoopy pants... Nice work on this build! A bit of a tip on your landscaping - it would be a bit more realistic if you hadn't put green under your dark brown. Grass usually doesn't grow under dirt! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Nice build, I like the tent! Agree with Kai about the green though. Quote
LittleJohn Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Great work on the tent! I like the olive green bush, though I have to agree with LV, and Kai about the base Quote
Gideon Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Nice foliage and tent! I think for a night scene, the lego colors work fine but the shadows from the light source (flash?) should have been less prominent and the brightness of the picture tuned down a bit. Quote
Maxim I Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Hahaha Avalonians and their trees, a classic one!! Nice entry! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Superb tent design Great forest landscape too, approved Quote
Gunman Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Really beautiful tent there mate :) Nice one... Quote
Elostirion Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 Thanks for your positive feedback and constructive suggestions. I will definitely look at those things (baseplate, shadows) in the future. Glad though that you like the general design of the scene. Quote
