hello i want to build a funtional model of a junttan pm 26 multi-purpose rig.

in circa scale 1:24 but i need some help.

has someone a good idea for making the long cylinders that suport the leader?

are the long cylinders actuators, or just supports? I have an idea for both, I just want to know which one it is before I describe both ideas.

They look like long cylinders, which is going to be kind of difficult. Also, what is the actual scaled length, 20cm extended fully, retracted, or stroke? That distinction is kind of important. Possibly even more important is how wide/the diameter of the cylinders, which could make this even harder.

But, in the meanwhile, here are a couple that you could adapt:
