Spud The Viking Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 This astoundingly fabulous! I am awestruck! Cannot wait to see more creations from you! Quote
tuskel Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Wow! What a shame you can't actually display the whole thing! (Maybe one day at some convention/exhibition?) It has made me realise that I should use LDD for some modulars I want to build. I should use LDD a lot more than I do now, anyway. Great work! I really like your MOCs. Quote
Kristel Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 What an amazing collection of MOCs! The elevating bridge is stunning! Quote
LAKAbricks Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Besides that, I needed the city to be in a germanic country, basically because of the story I wanted to tell and the architecture of both official sets and of my MOCs. That's why I decidd to give it a german name. It could have been danish, or norse, but I really don't speak a single word of those two languages, but I do understand just a little bit of german. :) For the story being told/built now, I think you hit the German style quite well. As being told now, it could not be in a Danish context. Btw. Falkenstadt in Danish would be "Falkeby", but to me it does not give the same associations as the German name. I look forward to see more progress from this impressive project, even though you do not have space for everything. Quote
Hobbythom Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Amazing project. I love the fact that you use a very recognizable 80/90's lego style and upgrade it with these amazing details. Works very well! Quote
frogstudio Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 Many thaks for all your comments! Amazing project. I love the fact that you use a very recognizable 80/90's lego style and upgrade it with these amazing details. Works very well! Gald you noticed it. I really try to emulate that simple style of the '80s which is the LEGO I knew as a child... :) Quote
