I have a different issue with S@H, and it's with the product reviews. I mainly rely on my own instinct (And sometimes go here if I can't decide), but the reviews on S@H seem rigged. Negative reviews disappear and while they are sometimes written with poor grammar, the same could be said for most of the positive ones, which are still up.

Even the worst sets somehow have 4.5 stars. :sadnew:

What are some of the "worst sets" though? I guess I haven't bought a set that I felt really bad about. Regarding the review scores, they do have stuff like 2.5 stars for the train tracks because of everyone complaining it doesn't come with curves, only flexi.

There were a few bad reviews that made it up on the S@H product reviews that I know of, for the Detective's Office modular set. There was even a 'response' from them about it posted. I haven't looked in a while at any reviews, I too don't think they are valid.

I got a prefabricated reply explaining how some things are backordered and will ship eventually, but nothing specific to my case and why it says cancelled, and not backordered.

DHL global is a horrible company, and their tracking system is no exception. I wish S@H just used regular mail. Keep trying with that number sometimes you get lucky and something shows up eventually.

Posted

In the US they use the regular mail for small packages, and FedEx for the bigger ones. I have been extremely lucky in never having anything lost or damaged.

That has nothing to do with luck. That's how they are supposed to do their job ;-)

I know in the uk that it is always Yodel who deliver my order, so I just go to the Yodel site & put the tracking no in there, where it works 99% of the time once the item is in the country.

The Lego tracker works for me about 1% of the time.

S@H site is wonky in firefox. Keeps redirecting back to main page when I try to do anything else. It was doing this during the sale on Nov 21st so I missed out on that and double points, still acting weird. I really don't want to install another browser but I think I may have to if I want to use their site.

Update: Downloaded Google Chrome specifically to view the S@H site, still no luck. Still redirecting to the main page. There tends to be serious issues with the S@H site at the most inopportune times.

I am on a Mac with Firefox, and on Saturday, I placed an order, and got as far as trying to check out, and it would send me back to the front page. I logged off the site, closed Firefox and then reopened and went back and everything worked correctly. Got the order accepted. I still never get any sort of confirmation email..not in the junk folder or anywhere. Its been so long since that worked for me, I don't even bother looking anymore. I just wait till it says shipped on the order status page.

It did that for me until Monday and by then I went "No thanks lego, I'll save my money". All I wanted was the pen holder house.

The site was wonky for me, for at least a week. I really wanted to get my VIP points, but didn't want to deal with the hassle. So Target and ToysRUs got my money instead.

I did that too for a couple gift sets I wanted to buy, and were already marked as 'Sold Out' on S@H. I got them from Amazon though, both for a discount.

Okay, so my last attempt, Firefox just kept sending me back to the home page, but Chrome worked perfectly. Placed the order, immediately received confirmation email, 2 days later received notification of shipping and invoice, tracking page has been working...

Can't log in to the S@H website. Used my saved password and it told me the password was wrong. I reset my password just in case someone had hacked my account or I had changed my password at some point and forgotten to save the new on in my browser, but it still won't log in. On firefox trying to log in just loops me back to the log in screen; on Chrome it still tells me my password is wrong.

Also had issues lately like some others where trying to view order details would redirect you back to the main S@H page, and the only solution to that was to log out and then log back in every time I wanted to actually view account or order details.

Given the boatloads of cash LEGO is making, they have absolutely no excuse to be running a store website this bad. Hire some competent programmers, get some decent servers. Whatever the problem is, fix it.

Try ([EDIT] clearing your cookies and) logging in on ReBrick; it uses the same authentication server, but (apparently) a different web frontend. I've had a right sod of a time with clearing (sometimes specific) cookies and discovering that I couldn't even log back in on the main or Shop sites, but for some reason, ReBrick worked. Maybe the Ideas subdomain is also "unique" like this.

Someone in the important leather chair needs to notice that things are bolloxed and diverting sales elsewhere, and also be interested enough to ask us poor plebeians what we're going through. Because seeing people have such issues for so long is actually beginning to look a bit cavalier on LEGO's part.

I tried to log in today to check the status of an order, and everytime I'd enter my user/pass I'd be redirected to the main page and still not logged in. :hmpf: I tried on a different browser, same result. The funny thing is I've never had any major problems with the site before. :shrug_confused:

I have Firefox at home and Google Chrome at work, and have this exact same issue, as well, being redirected back to the main page.

The other problem I have with buying from LEGO and having it shipped to me, and this isn't a bug issue with S@H, but it's that LEGO won't send to addresses that are freight-forwarding. I use a UPS Store for all my deliveries as I live in a secure, condominium building, and don't want the packages left outside (UPS/Fed-Ex always show up in the day while I am at work). So I have a mailbox for deliveries at a local UPS Store. Well, LEGO refuses to deliver there because it has the option of freight-forwarding.

I know their intention is good, but it makes it very inconvenient as if I want to have anything delivered, I have to do so through work, which I really would prefer not doing. So I try to buy at actual LEGO stores if I can.

For me the problem is, that I often can't reach the dutch version. Whenever I load a next theme or other link, I get redirected to the UK shop@home...

I can't seem to remove any items from my shopping cart. Anyone else? Need this fixed by.. well, now.

Even clicking Checkout redirects me. Also if I change my quantity to 0 it does.
