First, let me start by saying that I must give credit where credit is due and I mostly copied this build as best I could from this link https://www.flickr.c...N06/6937426891/

Second, I hope this is ok. I've always wanted to attempt this but I'm not very creative. I also wanted to make this my own by altering some things and not trying to make an exact copy.

Level 4 (top): reserved for the 75034 Death Star Troopers set with gun.

Level 3: Emperor's chair with window (will be accompanied by Royal Guards from 75034)

Level 2: Stormtrooper's area? I'll place some Stormtroopers from set 75078.

Level 1 (bottom): instead of the trash compactor, I opted to go with a docking bay that will either have the Falcon 75030 or the Tie Interceptor 75031 microfighter.

I'd like some suggestions and feedback. Especially on the top. I've had a rough time lining things up in LDD.

Thanks.

Good attempt. I would recommend adding a cannon and some play features to make it more striking.

Thanks. Again, I mostly copied from another design.

And, I plan on adding this cannon (gun) to the top level.

One question on LDD.

Is there any way to extract a parts list from LDD?

Not directly, but there are a few ways to do it. If you use a PC, you can download LDD manager, which will concert your LDD file into a parts list ready for BrickLink. Otherwise, there are some websites that let you do the same thing, namely the BL Moc Shop when your are testing 'Moc-ability' Hope this helps!

Thanks! I'll try it out!

I reckon you could take this to the next level and really make it something special :) good work.

Actually, it's possible to create a parts list directly from LDD : click on File, then on Export BOM, and you'll get a spreadsheet containing your parts list.

Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that. I prefer just to have an XML since I can directly upload it to BrickLink.

Any suggestions on how I could do that?

I'd say just expand and experiment man! Try to fit as many little details in and pop in some figures; stormtroopers for level 2 and maybe the emperor himself in level 3? These are just some minor suggestions, its all up to you! :)

You could add in the final dual I and II You get the emperor, his thrown, luke and a few imperial troops.

You could also add a picture of a space battle facing the window in the emperor's room to make it look like he can see the battle going down outside
