June 20, 20159 yr That gets me thinking. Since the chips are the only piece that contains the character unlock, I wonder if people will buy sets and then just sell the chips separate and keep the minifigures if they don't have a system to play the game or any interest in playing? I could see people buying say the Ghostbuster pack and then replacing the new Venkman with the old and selling off the chip and old minifig. Maybe even just selling off the chip alone for cheap. It would be a way to unlock all the characters for dramatically reduced prices in the game if you don't care that much about the minifigures. It's known that new parts are not available in any kind of Ideas products, but it should be something dissapointing that licesnsed Ideas products are not doing their best in minifigures, judging from what we can see in these newer versions. My dissapointment about the Ideas licesnes is that LEGO don't do larger sets based on the Ideas suggestions, so that the new figures could also be included there too. That is a much more legit option that the figure packs. The kind of parent who has a lot of disposable income and spends a considerable portion of that on gifts for their child. One of the most profitable kinds of parent as far as LEGO is concerned! Additionally, any LEGO video game release, even on PC, can potentially demand a lot of up-front investment from parents, since PCs that parents own for personal use do not necessarily have the same graphics processing capabilities as a dedicated game console. It's also worth noting that LEGO City Undercover was actually published by Nintendo. It's honestly why I doubt Chase McCain's absense. WiiU and Undercover had been released for some years, so it would be predictible that part of the gamers/FOLs already obtain this game and they're ready for the next one. It seems unwise to forget to cover the existed market so easily.Too bad that this game hasn't caught my eyes. I'd actually consider to get a new console even if I don't own it. June 21, 20159 yr Cheers Blondie-Wan, so converting that into pounds makes it around £62.00, which seems very reasonable. It's going to be £85-95 pounds, apparently, depending what system you get it for.
June 21, 20159 yr I'm pretty sure his was already asked, though I couldn't find it: Is the price higher or lower for the older consoles (XBOX 360)
June 21, 20159 yr I'm pretty sure his was already asked, though I couldn't find it: Is the price higher or lower for the older consoles (XBOX 360) the only price i remember that was lower was for the wiiU
June 22, 20159 yr I'm pretty sure his was already asked, though I couldn't find it: Is the price higher or lower for the older consoles (XBOX 360) It depends on which country you are in. For the UK, the older console prices are about £10 cheaper than the newer. In the U.S. they are all the exact same for each console.
June 24, 20159 yr I'd say I'm about 40-50% going to buy this game. Incloude Harry Potter characters I'll 100% buy one for myself and one for my three neices so we can play on-line

June 28, 20159 yr SLIMER???? Could the Skeemers from the upcoming NINJAGO Ghost Warrior series be a clue that we may be getting a slimer minifigure and if so are we looking at our next slimer and will he appear in the game as rumored? http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Final-Flight-of-Destiny-s-Bounty-70738?fromListing=listing
June 28, 20159 yr I don't think the Skreemers look much like Slimer at all. They're too ectoplasmic and flat, whereas Slimer has a more defined shape and is more upright.

In my opinion, its fine for the time being, I think that I actually suggested this use somewhere in the Ghostbusters thread. Edited June 29, 20159 yr by Legocity2713
June 29, 20159 yr In my opinion, its fine for the time being, I think that I actually suggested this use somewhere in the Ghostbusters thread. Agreed. It's no official Slimer, but it's more than a good enough substitute. What really pissed me off about your post was the shot from Ghostbuster 2!
June 29, 20159 yr It was the only relatively small full-body shot I could find. I could see them using the Skreemer mold for Slimer, but I'd have to see the final product to tell if it's a good reuse or not.
June 29, 20159 yr Eugh, I just heard what the voice actor they're using for Kai from NINJAGO sounds like. They can get Will Arnett to play Batman but they can't get Vincent Tong to play Kai?
June 30, 20159 yr Eugh, I just heard what the voice actor they're using for Kai from NINJAGO sounds like. They can get Will Arnett to play Batman but they can't get Vincent Tong to play Kai? They can't even get original voice actors for Ninjago video games. I don't think the Skreemers look much like Slimer at all. They're too ectoplasmic and flat, whereas Slimer has a more defined shape and is more upright. Slimers are also bigger. That mold just won't work. They would possibly look more accurate brick-built.
June 30, 20159 yr Eugh, I just heard what the voice actor they're using for Kai from NINJAGO sounds like. They can get Will Arnett to play Batman but they can't get Vincent Tong to play Kai? This is Cartoon Batman, not (directly) Lego Movie Batman. They didn't get Will Arnett. They got Elizabeth Banks, Christopher Lloyd, Dan Castellaneta, Stephen Merchant, heck, even Ellen McClain (GLaDOS), but they still didn't get Will Arnett... The voice for Batman is Troy Baker in Dimensions as well as some of the more recent Batman media. That's also been Kai's absolutely dreaded voice for ALL of the (equally dreadful) Ninjago games. Since the VO's for the TV show are located in Canada, I can understand why, for a low budget handheld game, they would need someone more affordable that is also on site. For a project this ambitious, however, they should have gone the full nine yards. Of course, they didn't, and I'm left to wallow in sadness. Edited June 30, 20159 yr by Penkid11

Troy Baker is a great impressionist, that's probably why I got them mixed up. He did a fantastic job portraying Mark Hamill's Joker in Arkham Origins.
June 30, 20159 yr Speaking of that,a good friend of mine showed me this: And look at the left Haha, so they do meet. That scene was great.
June 30, 20159 yr Speaking of that,a good friend of mine showed me this: And look at the left Some great stuff in that youtube clip, Gandalf, Batman and Wyldstyle on the Yellowbrick Road, Gandalf and Batman attacking the something that looks like the Balrog? The the Joker riding the Balrog. Also at 2.43, whats the white character doing somersaults?? Looks like a stormtrooper, but it cant be? Guess its some Ninjago figure i'm not aware of?

June 30, 20159 yr Though it's been mentioned before, the people who made that CUUSOO Portal Idea a few years ago have remade it and submitted a new one that's based on the Dimensions Portal.. pack. I really want to help spread the word as it hasn't gotten as much attention as before, but without making a thread or something. Any ideas?
June 30, 20159 yr So we can expect frodo and hopefully witch king in a future dimensions pack. That's quite possible, as TT has sets planned all the way through 2018. Speaking of that,a good friend of mine showed me this: And look at the left Oh that's great! I'm still bummed about the Ninjago VOs though. I digress. This game is going to be great.
June 30, 20159 yr Speaking of that,a good friend of mine showed me this: And look at the left Batman vs. Batman was awesome!
