Kai's Sword of Fire can melt ice, and deflect lasers.

Just a rule of thumb when it comes to Toys 2 Life games.* If there is no announcement of expansions/new game by mid-April, fans will have to wait until June for E3 (Electronics Entertainment Expo).

That's when Lego really started to go heavy promoting Lego Dimensions last year. I'd expect big news then, if not just a couple weeks before.

*(This does not apply to Amiibo as no one series of characters are for just one game).

I have a few questions.

1) I know you can upgrade vehicles and save them to a vehicle game tag.

If two people have the game, Can Person A save a fully upgraded vehicle on a game tag and

use it on Persons B's game if they never upgraded that vehicle?

2) Is an upgraded vehicle tag on PS4 game usable on WII U game?

3) Does the Character Game tag save any information?

example: if you "unlock regeneration and the Doctors",

Can you save Character tag with Doctor 1 and

play it on a different persons game?

4) I have two Portal 2 level packs.

Can you put down 2 Companion Cube at the same time?

1) It is an NFC chip. I assume the data is being written directly to it and not saved in the toypad itself. According to the official FAQ, the chips come blank. So, I assume then that means you can use it on any one's game but I am unsure if the developers wrote something into the game preventing you from using it if you haven't unlocked it. Not even sure what to Google to even begin looking for an answer.

2) Yes. Only the game and the disc are platform specific.

Yeah it's just the fact that Lego have probably done the Lord of the Rings thing to death by now and that includes the Hobbit really. And yeah the stuff for Harry Potter will be interesting if the franchise is confirmed. Wonder what movies they'll cover there. The first three movies or the later ones?

1) The only thing saved to the vehicle tag is the last update that is saved. So if you save build 3 and then use that toy on another persons game, the only version that is usable is build 3 and no changes will be able to be made, apart from turning on/off the abilities (bolt colour,etc.) for that particular build. If you put in the vehicles associated minifig, it will make upgrading possible starting from the first build but will use your friends studs and bricks up.

Take your toys home, and the last build from your friends game will appear, but your already paid for upgrades, registered to your game and unlocked with the minifig, will be available.

2) The vehicle tag just provides a simple code which tells the game what digital version to drop into the game. These are ubiquitous to all versions of the game and Wii U will work with PS4,Xbox, etc.

3) The minifigs toy tag is read only and cannot be re-written. It's is not possible to set a Doctor or Ghostbuster to any regeneration/team member for multigame use.

GR and KR are the only ones that stump me, but since they only have 1 pack each, they could be initials of character names instead of franchise names. The one thing that makes me sad is that there is no mention of any previous franchises on this list, but then again, there are only 17 packs here, and I think there will be way more overall.

Anyway, there are 5 "Connectable" packs- Wii U, PS3, PS4, XBone, XB360- so there's that. One for each console?

Ghost Rider is a Marvel character, and Marvel is owned by Disney, so if he turned up anywhere in TTL games it'd be in Disney Infinity.

Part of me half-wondered whether, given the preponderance of Warner-owned and/or '80s-originated properties, "GR" might be Gremlins, but I'm not wildly optimistic about TLG wanting to touch that one.

It was me who said we were getting AT, but am I the only one who doesn't really like LEGO touching all this 80s stuff? BTTF and GB is fine, but Gremlins? Knight Rider? A-Team? I don't think kids today even know what those are (maybe Gremlins) so they might be something else.

There was a new movie for the A-Team though in 2010 but judging from the reviews I've just seen it wasn't that great of a movie. Plus there was going to be a sequel made but got cancelled due to the reception of the first movie so there's that. Knight Rider, I'm not so sure about that one, Gremlins I dunno the first movie seemed more frightening and very inappropriate for kids and I think it was a reason why parents complained because of the overly dark tone that the movie had. Yeah it's a great movie but that's like me saying that Terminator should be in Lego Dimensions because of Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's just not gonna happen really. Then again the second movie was kind of a response to the parents saying that their kids got scared of the antics that the Gremlins themselves got up to but from what I've heard of the second movie it kind of suffered because of that and it was essentially a retread of the first movie but with a more lighthearted feel to it.

I feel the same way. I really don't understand how this is profitable, assuming more kids than adults play LEGO Dimensions. Besides, I'm starting to feel like it is getting 'contaminated' with (more or less useless) licences.

I think it would be better to have more (of) original LEGO themes in Dimensions

I think AT is more likely to stand for Adventure Time than A-Team. I feel like if they were going to make A-Team packs it'd be pretty redundant to make a Mr. T pack that isn't based on his character from that license.

Oh, I wasn't saying Gremlins would happen; it was just me grasping at straws, trying to come up with something that fit "GR" and various criteria that applied to multiple other properties / themes in the game, such as the '80s connection and WB ownership. Nexo Knights would be the obvious choice since its a new theme with a big marketing push behind it.

We got a whole bunch of NinjaGo packs and a few Chima packs so some Nexo Knights packs and a Nexo Knights area make a bunch of sense IMO.
