I assumed skill tree meant unique skills for each character.

A skill tree, as the name implies, refers to a chain of upgrades, usually chosen by the player, to achieve the balance of abilities like power, speed, and health in the way the player wants. Usually, the skill tree has to be chosen carefully, as it won't be possible to have the complete set of upgrades. In this game, it would be like buying speed, health, and extra special powers to upgrade the characters.

Did I get that right?

Yeah a skill tree branches and branches out. You pick some quality or ability of your character to unlock or enhance when you have enough points, and then that selection is a prerequisite for choices further to the tip.

I know what you were talking about with the regenerations though, being the only part of any dimensions character that requires a string of unlocks, so in a way, not so off. But a skill tree it really isn't, either.

Hopefully they will make a upgrade like that in Wave 6 or beyond. Hopefully they make costumes in the game. It would be so cool if you're Batman with the power armour from Dawn of Justice.

It would be good to be able to have the 12th Doctor in his hoodie and 1st/2nd Doctor-esque trousers from The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar or Homer Simpson in his Mr Plow costume.

Ooh! Really? Does Target have them all on sale right now?

75% off Lego Movie and Chima Fun Packs with the Cartwheel app. :classic: I would have gotten Unikitty and Benny too but they were sold out. :cry_sad:

EDIT: Spelling. Autocorrected 'Chima' to 'China'

Awesome! I'll have to check this "Cartwheel" out.

Any tips for cutting down on freezing and crashing for Xbox 360? It's starting to get really annoying. :sceptic:

You could do what I did: upgrade to an Xbox One. Yes I know, super-unhelpful, but it honestly was a worthwhile upgrade, for me, and LD was part of the impetus.

In the same boat. Everytime I think about playing I wonder if I want to bother with the freezing and if I have the patience at that time.

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if you could help me out on something. I just got the Mideay Arcade Pack (at the very reasonable price of $15 from S@H) but I'm having some issues. When playing the Spy Huner game in the level, I decided to hit "continue playing" rather than explore the arcade as I personally love the game. When I got to gold level, I want to exit the game, but see no means of doing so... I even took all the items off the toy pad and nothing worked. I'm on Xbox 360. Any tips? I've tried video tutorials but pretty much everyone said to continue exploring the arcade so I'm a bit confused... Thanks!

On the Wii U version of the game, I just have to hit Start and the bottom option is something like "Quit and collect Studs"

Huh... The start for Xbox 360 doesn't show that... Guess I'll have to try something else. Thanks for the tip though!

It would be pretty neat to be able to upgrade characters.

Tbh, if there's anything Lego games need, it's depth. So what if kids actually have to do a puzzle without a button prompt every 3 seconds? Upgrades would add amazing mechanics to gameplay, depending on what the upgrades are.

I doubt there'll ever be a combat-focused adventure game from LEGO, but that's not all upgrades are for. If you could equip three upgrades at a time, you could solve puzzles in several creative ways.

Picked up Superman today for $8.72 at Walmart. I got Cragger, Benny, and Unikitty for $3.72 a piece using Cartwheel at Target.

Nice deal on Superman! I don't see that promo on their website... Was that specific to your store? (Trying to get that price matched at Target... ;) )

Huh. I can't find it on their site. Perhaps the website is sold out? I don't think it was specific to my store. Most fun packs Walmart is selling are $8.72. Just keep an eye on the site and also check out Bricks to Life's Deals section. I get all my Dimensions deals updates from there.

Edit: Picked up Cyberman and Sensei Wu from Target for $7.59 each today. Got quite the family going now and more extra parts too(Unikitty provided me a gold mine of extras <3). Been a good couple days!

Was back at the same Target on a non-Lego related errand... And they has one Unikitty out on the shelf! Probably a return. Either way, with today being the last day for the Cartwheel 75% off they no longer have any in stock. :sweet:
