E3 promo. :/

That's too bad. I would have liked to have the chance to play as Supergirl. I hope Green Arrow doesn't meet the same fate. :look:

Maybe LEGO will pass the Green Arrow characters out at Comic Con.

EDIT: What if LEGO gave all the SDCC characters Dimensions capabilities? *shudders*

Seriously? Crap! I was really looking forward to getting her. Maybe the version with the orange toy tag is the promo and she'll be available at normal retail otherwise?

Either way, here's hoping Green Arrow doesn't suffer the same fate.

Although we do know she's a playable character from leaked footage along with the Green Arrow, Slimer and Lloyd I don't see why they wouldn't include her as a fun pack character. But my best bet is that we'll probably have something announced at E3 about her.

That seriously sucks if she remains an exclusive. I'm sort of guessing she'll get a wide release eventually though. I mean in addition to making this physically they made her model in game, animated it and hired a voice actress. That seems like a lot of time and money for an exclusive available only to a few, better yet there wouldn't even be a profit to doing that. With the lack of playable female characters in the game already Supergirl would likely sell really well in a wide release, it would be stupid to limit her to an exclusive.

I hope they're going to add on to existing franchises too when the next line hits. I'd hate for only new worlds and no development to what's already in the game. Some of the existing adventure worlds could really use a level pack. I'd especially like something for Oz. I'm still bummed out they never even gave us Dorothy (Even in the games plot line she basically disappears after her section and never reappears). I was just thinking earlier today that if they included her in the fall wave they could use the new skirt piece from the Disney CMF. I'm not a fan of the excessive leg printing the game version of her has currently. Using that piece would definitely improve her design and make a physical variant easier to produce.

It can be just an exclusive, they gave it a normal set number (71340) and no previous event exclusive has ever been given a normal 5 digit number. I bet E3 will have something like a different package or the like.

Hey, all fun packs are $11.99 on S@H, and they're not showing as a sale item. Is this a new, lowered price, or just a mistake?

My Walmart has them for this price too right now, no sale tags. I'm guessing they dropped the price permanently.

Time to update the list! I'm assuming that new Supergirl pack is what we may just call a "Promo Pack", which I'll also assume will not be limited to E3 bug will hopefully also turn up eventually at TRU or something. Thanks (again!) to CM4Sci, we also know Jillian Holtzmann is in one of the new Ghostbusters packs, and I'm going out on a limb and assuming one of the Harry Potter packs does in fact contain Harry Potter. Since there are multiple packs listed for both, though, I'm not assigning those characters to specific packs just yet, though it seems to me Harry would likely be in the first pack for his franchise.

Still plenty of gaps in the numbering!

The news just broke on Brickset that Supergirl's instructions got uploaded by LEGO. From the looks of, she'll be packaged on her own without any sort of vehicle or gadget. Could we be looking at Dimensions polybags or something?

Polybags would be great if they make them widely available rather than just as shop or newspaper exclusives. It would provide a nice cheap alternative to the other packs and also allow for characters where there isn't an obvious vehicle or gadget to pair them with.

That didn't stop them with Superman and Aquaman though.

You're right about Aquaman. But Superman's vehicle is based on his pod from Krypton, so I guess that makes sense.

It was leaked from the ghostbuster set pictures. Holtzmann had three faces, which lead to the conclusion of her being a dimensions pack. It's not confirmed, but it's most likely her.

Plus she looks to be the standout of the female Ghostbusters lineup. I think she'll be this film's Bill Murray.

I think it would've been cool to have had the DC packs vehicle variations be based on Batman.

You mean the alternate paint jobs? Like how the Ninjago vehicles all had the same snake, nindroid, snake cult patterns?

I do like the ones that make the vehicle a match for another character. Emmet -> Wildstyle, Batman -> Joker, Joker -> Harley. And the DC models each probably had a lackluster one that could be spared... And Batman is a vehicle hog, with something for every occasion... Yes! I like your idea. Have my stamp of approvalness.
