If they want to do a limited edition Green Arrow and Supergirl for E3, that's fine, but I sure hope they come out in the game. Yeah, I get that they will probably have duplicative powers, but that's not the point - I'd like to play with those two characters in game!

If they are limited, i doubt they will get released to the public.

No thoughts on my guess that they'll get a wider release, just without the specially-colored bases?

I think it sounds spot on. Why leave all that cash on the table?

That's what I thought at first too, but it turns out all the Phase 2 packs will have orange bases.

Phase 2? Phase 2? What's the official name for the future packs? Is it ''Wave 6 and beyond'', ''Year 2'' or Phase 2? :sceptic:

Nice find on that Sonic!

Ugh. So are they really going to keep those characters exclusive to E3?! That's deeply unfortunate. I hope it's just that they're debuting there, and those promos will become a little more widely available later.

That wouldn't surprise me, honestly, given that a) they're polybags and b) some of Supergirls parts appeared in the LEGO Customer Service inventory for at least one of the Starter Packs. It could potentially be distributed as some kind of gift-with-purchase.

As polybags, no matter how they are distributed, they will probably be more limited than the regular retail fun packs — but people have panicked about polybags before (shirtless Darth Maul at NYTF 2012 and classic Mr. Freeze at NYTF 2016 being two examples that come to mind), and I don't know if they've ever ended up remaining exclusive to one in-person event. Sets that are truly exclusive to one specific event like Comic-Con, Toy Fair, and the LEGO Inside Tour are generally marked with the name of the event, because if you're giving people something they could not have gotten except by being at that event, why not let them know that?

Clearly fake, since that's literally just a blurry version of this custom 'fig photoshopped onto a LD toytag.

If you look closely the head piece in the "leaked" picture it has some differences... For one the white streak in the hair. But ya I think it's fake the other team packs are never that close to each other. And none of the vehicles or accessories have colored tags..

Yeah, I'm thinking this is fake. It just doesn't seem right.

Really I'm wondering if they'll give us a minifigure or a specially molded piece like they did with Scooby and the Angry Birds. After all Sonic's body is kind of hard to portray in standard minifigure form (Which is why I was surprised this license came about in the first place). Seeing how bad this fake prelim looks I'm kind of hoping for a molded monstrosity in the vein of Angry Birds over this type of Franken-Minifigure.

No idea what the official name is (if any); I'm just personally thinking in terms of "phases" for some reason.
